OK, this is what I've read from newsletters and the such.

Supposedly, Shane McMahon isn't really interested in running WWE, or at least not the wrestling end. He's more interested in Hollywood. Whatever input Shane gives to WWE - whether it's through performance or creative or whatever - is more out of family loyalty than a want to run the company some day. Apparently, HHH and Steph are much more interested in running a wrestling promotion - Shane just wants to make movies.

I know up until recently, Shane was at or near the top of their movie division - WWE films or whatever. I don't know if he still is, cause I don't get the newsletters anymore, and honestly don't know if they even still have a movie division. I just doubt you'll be seeing a true Shane McMahon led promotion anytime soon - whether that's good or bad is up to you.

I've heard the same thing... that Shane isn't interested in taking over.

Steph is.

No joke.

Expect HHH's title reign to approach the length of, say.... Moolah's.

I wouldn't expect HHH's reign to last that long. The company will go out of business first, and they're a long way away from that.

Seriously, at the rate he's going, expect a Billy Graham reign.

Flock, you've called him "Hogan Jr." but you are not giving Hogan any credit, or you're giving HHH too much credit. As bad as Hogan ever was, he knew when to tone it down, cycle off the roids and lay low for a while. Like he's doing now. Like he did while making his movies.

He also knew when to pass the spotlight, at least for a short time, before turning it around and putting it back on himself.

Hogan sucked as a wrestler, but he was real smart. HHH seems to think he can go on forever as both a wrestling champion and bodybuilder/muscleman. What he and Vince don't understand, is that bodybuilders don't make good wrestlers and vice versa. Flair, Hart, Michaels, Austin, Rock, Sting, Goldberg, Steamboat, Angle, fucking whatever...none of them bodybuilders. Hogan was a one in a million fucking phenomenon that won't happen again. The Warlord and Ludwig Borga and Bautista are what happen when you DO try to push big steroid built bodybuilders as wrestlers. Look at even guys like Benoit and Guerrero now - good by WWE standards, but compared to what they used to do their work sucks now. It fucking sucks, seeing Eddy and Benoit have an almost psych-free match with their bloated upper bodies - and having it almost universally praised on the net - while it was nowhere NEAR anything either one did just 9 years ago (before they were ready for Sportz Entertainment).

It's sad, very sad what has happened to wrestling.

I could write about this subject forever...

The sad part of this whole story is that, we as wrestling fans have become spoiled by the last five years that the business was ultra-hot and now with the downturn for the business as in the rest of the economy. Even the NWA- tna which COULD be the next organization to go against McMahon but, will more than likely fold up before the end of the year.

Thank god i have my old videos to watch and look at and think how they had hot crowds and hot angles. Where did they go wrong?? :wow::grin2:
You're a filthy whore!!!

I call him Hogan Jr. because Hogan had major pull backstage as well and constantly held other wrestlers down who were 100% better than he could ever dream of being. Sure, you say he did know when to pass the spotlight, but he also made sure to get it back as soon as he could. He's a fucking egomaniac that can't stand seeing others shine while he's in the background.

Hell, even HHH did this for a short while by letting HBK have the belt. I know, it's part of the whole "Clique" thing, but he still did it.

Not that I'm gonna defend the guy, but how did he not make money?? Or do you mean all the publicity Hogan brought in back in the day?? Could you clarify?? He's rich enough getting the opportunity to bang the bosses' daughter. What guy wouldn't wanna be fucking the bosses daughter if she was a piece of ass??
I'm not quite there yet

Sorry, you completely lost me here.
Are you saying just because Hogan made money he's allowed to shit on other wrestlers 100x more talented and hold them back?

Sorry, ain't buying it. :disappointed:
