Titan, I love your b&w work - very nice. I was going to complain about the levels of the picture in the wedding ad being too light, but then I realized you did that on purpose

Only beef is that I sort of feel like this type of photo edit (black and white with one specific area colored) is beginning to get overdone. Not really a knock on you or how you tone, because I'm sure that in a lot of occasions your clients wants it toned in such a way.

Photos 3 and 4 were from the photo pits at Fifth Third Ballpark, all the rest were from the stands. About once a year I'm able to get my hands on a photo pass, all the other times I'll just buy a lawn seat and wander around the park.

I shoot with a Nikon D-50, and the lens I use at the ballgames is a Nikor 70-300mm f/4-5.6, that came with the camera, actually. Both aren't the best stuff out there, and in the future I hope to upgrade both the body and the zoom lens, but for the time being I can get some good shots, and I feel as though I've been able to learn enough about my camera to get the maximum performance out of it.

My biggest "complaint" with my zoom lens is that the photos are often a little fuzzy from it, when I compare my photos to a friend that shoots with a very similar camera, but better zoom lens, it's noticable that I don't have the higher grade professional glass in the lens.

I started out with a D50 and still use it as my back up. Nikon Bitches !

I keep thinking that I want to get out to 5th 3rd for photos, but never quite get around to it.

I love getting out the photograph at the ballpark. It allows me to combine two of my favorite things- baseball and photography. Three of my favorite if I decide to take a break for a beer midway through the game.

This year I've only gotten out with my camera about half a dozen times (been to way many more games than that, just didn't bring the camera along), I'd hope to have gotten out more with it, but seeing the busy schedule I've had with the wedding a couple months back, I can see why I haven't.

I travel nationwide for weddeings. I'm negotiating with a couple to shoot their wedding in Hawaii next spring, so NJ isn't too far away for me.
