Ugh I worked at a Starbucks in the mall in high school. It was complete hell during the holidays, especially Thanksgiving weekend and December 26.
I have you both trumped. I worked at Meijer (Think Super Walmart, or whatever they call it, with food, clothes, general merchandise...etc) in the Sporting Goods Dept. Nevember 14th, every year, I would have about 20 people in line to get Deer Licenses. Then on X-mas eve, holy shit.... I know at least one year when I was a bagger, every cart in the store was being used. We had people in line to get one.
