Way-Man?

Last summer I caught a snippet of something on a Saturday morning "Best Of." The guys were talking about the city of Wayland, and some marketing idea they had, where there was a city superhero called Way-Man, or something like that.

They then began to do a fake "story" about Way-Man. Does anybody remember this?

It was Wy-man. He was the mascot for the city of Wyoming Michigan who was supposed to encourage local shopping and what not.

It turned out to be as successful as Blinky (the vibrator looking mascot) on WZZM.

When FBHW did their "story" about Wy-Man, they gave him a psudo-name (ala Clark Kent), anybody happen to remember what it was?

I heard he was shot in the ass while walking down the street drunk after he got fired!
