Anyway when I finally got paid my buddy and I immediatly when to walmart to spend some money (wow...walmart) anyway my dad was home when we returned and asked if I had gotten paid to which i replied "yah, and I bought Spaceballs"

...long pause.....

disapointed tone* "You bought spaceballs with the money you earned all week?"

me- 'yeah'

dad- 'WELL PUT IT IN!'

I wish I could say I saw it in the theatre, but comics came first in those days, and a 5 dollar movie ticket was = to 3 or 4 comics. I did however end up getting the soundtrack, and the novelization, and of course I own the special edition DVD

While I dearly love this movie, I feel that it suffers in the same way that most Mel Brooks movies suffer, too much Jew humor. Yeah yeah I get it Mel you're jewish, and that's quirky. Thanks for hitting me over the head with it a billion times.

No F'ing shit really ? It's been in the works for years you say ?

I wasn't announcing the animated series being in development and holding on and waiting for that magical day when it would finally arrive.

I was announcing the actual date of the thing.

Welcome to September 21st dumbass.

No i have to out-nerd you by showing my awesome knowledge of the fact that it was originally supposed to be aired in 2006 IIRC, i remember seeing commercials for it then they just canned it before the first episode aired.

It sucks that basically none of the original cast is back for voice over work.

Will you perhaps accept a draw in the nerding ? I remember posting about the "spaceballs sequel" which is what turned into the animated episodes, way back in 94 when Mel Brooks made some sort of statement that he was officially working on a sequel,

And Holy S ! Man !

Theres 2 hours of animated spaceballs coming ! We should be hgging not fighting !

My hope is that it is at least as good of quality as the animated clerks series was. I know people that hated it, but i thought it was great. I would gladly take that for spaceballs as well.

I loved the animated Clerks ! Have you seen thetrailer for Zack and Miri Make a Porno yet ? I think it looks like it's going to be very funny. Also, if you see the trailer the girl who takes her dress off in the "titty audition" is a friend of mine. Woo.

		Today People Today ! ! !

3:00 pm, G4 (Channel 73 on Comcast)

They're showing the original movie first.

Then, it looks like all of the animated episodes back to back Then it looks like at 7:00pm they're repeating the whole thing again.

I am so seriously nerd bonering about this.

Yep i saw it. There were a couple good lines here and there, but for the most part, big stinker. Oh well at least they showed the movie afterwards.

Wait...it was on G4 so it was censored to shit and worthless. Awesome
