Bob and Tom

I've been listening to Free Beer and Hot Wings for a long time and I have heard the guys bashing Bob and Tom over the years and I was wondering why. I have never listened to Bob and Tom and have no interest in listening to them, I just want to know why they bash them.

Try listening to them next time FBHW have a best of. B & T really are that bad. I'm ashamed to say that I used to listen to them.

Bob and Tom are notorious for just laughing, they'll bring on comedians to play stupid songs or tell jokes and then just sit back and laugh and make dumb puns. I haven't listened to them much but this is what I've gathered...

I used to listen to bob and tom myself, Thought they were funny until FB&HW took over on the station they were on.

The guys on the show don't really bash other shows unless the other shows decide to start a fuss on them. B&T more than likely had a problem with them taking over in their territory or something of that nature. There are millions of bad morning shows out there so these guys aren't picking them just because of that. I don't know the extent of any problems they actually have with them. Maybe one of the guys from the show can shed some light on it if they see this thread and feel like it .

B&T have been around forever and their style of humor is outdated, cheezy and obviously forced.

The guys on the Freebeer and Hotwings show are normal, everyday jerks that talk about sports, videogames, cars, porn, current events, etc. but put their unique and sarcastic commentary to it.
No schtick, no wacky songs that they're expected to write, just dudes having a conversation like you would with your buddies at the bar.

Of course, this is being posted on a freebeer and hotwings message board, so I'm a little biased.

They've put those two on TV here at midnight. I've always fallen asleep and wanted to watch cause I've never heard or seen them either. I used to listen some cheesy ass local not funny duo. What a waste. Then there was the Lex and Terry phase, although I did enjoy drunk bitch friday.....

I vaguely remember a story from a while ago when one of the guys from B&T told one of the guys from FBHW that they should consider doing an afternoon show because there really wasn't room for two syndicated comedy shows. - That's the only thing personal between them that I know of (and even that's not that personal).

On a professional level, they think (as others have pointed out) that B&T do outdated comedy and laugh too much. - Lots of people suck, but Bob and Tom get paid millions to do it. As far as I know, that's why B&T get the most heat.

Hell yeah! Drunk bitch friday was a great bit.
Used to listen to Lex and Terry back when I lived in North Carolina. They had their moments...gave awesome advice too.

when FBHW are gone I try and listen to lex and terry but I've had a hard time with them. They do give ok advice.....but I wanna know why their website is a pay site??
