If someone balloons up, they're usually self conscious about it and wouldn't wear a dress tight in the midsection at a public event like that. They dont look like maternity clothes, and she had no cake or pudding on her face (tell tale sign of pregnancy!)

Either she's pregnant or she had surgery or something and is puffy from medication (although her face is still thin).
