The board was brought up in retrospect as a way to keep in touch with other Opie and Anthony fans while progressively introducing people from other "walks of the internet" so to speak....until the show finally came back on where we could all start listening again and finally have somewhere to post about the show.
I do not think Alkey pays for this board for people to openly mock and look down on it's ideal goal and i know they do and i'm almost certain that he does not give a shit when it happens, as long as it isn't blatantly disrespectful towards him. Even still, this is HIS board and whatever rules he sets(which are not plentiful) we should all respect and take into consideration to a certain degree before saying whatever it is that we have to say.
I didn't intend to answer the questions you put forth for Silera, however i felt a need to say what i think is within MY right to say.
It's not like we demand, or even ask so much from the people here. We have pretty much run YMB with a cool hand(save for a specific exception) and will continue to do so without thinking twice about it. No matter what the majority feels is 'right" or "acceptable".

I'm not saying that the board is going back to what it once was or that the rules are too strict. All I'm saying is that it seems very familiar, and that we all know the outcome of the last time this happened.

No, we don't believe we can "own" the members but in a simple and realistic way.....Alkey does. At any given time he could simply STOP footing the bill for this site and then alot of the posters here would be without a place to converse.
I'm not saying we should be making him into something he isn't but i'm also not saying we should completely disreguard any authoritive action he, or any one of the Mods/Admins has to give for that matter.
I wasn't around for the whole "froy" era. I don't pretend to know what happened there in reguards to what is happening here(i.e. similarities) but i do know that everyone is trying their best to make this a sociable place.
