And, don't forget the Isles, the only American team to win 4 in a row, 80-83 :) So in essence, as francine said, New Yorkers know a little something when it comes to winning sports teams. I used to love the way the old gordon fisherman's jerseys looked as they were draped around some poor Isle fan that we tossed down a stairway. You guys should get those jerseys back. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Aug. 00 | francine i said nothing of isles-rangers matchups because although the two teams hate each other, and the fans hate the opposing team, the fans are usually (granted, not alway) somewhat civil to each other. plus, in the past few years, there were more ranger fans at the coliseum because most isles fans (myself NOT included) had gone into hiding. but i've worn isles jerseys to the garden and not gotten too much hassle, actually had a good time sitting next to some ranger die hards one night a few years back. philly fans on the other hand, being mostly out-of-towners who come in and make a mess out of the arenas, get hassled very often. that's just the way it goes. if i were to wear an isles jersey to the fu center i'd expect nothing less. darthziggy@opieanthony.com Currently a student at Franklin Pierce College.
