Any Philly fan who says that they have been playing good recently is a complete moron. They really played like crap in the end and because of that, they lost home ice advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs. They come into the playoffs playing poorly. The winning goal was just about the weekest OT shot I've ever seen, just trickled over the line, but hey, a win's a win, and Fedotenko was playing pretty solid the whole game. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | In regulation, they got dominated. Cechmanek played good enough in regulation to get them to OT. No question the Flyers killed the Sens in OT, but you can't expect the Flyers to play the same way in regulation again and expect to win. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | It is looking ALL bad for the Flyers now. I guess plan A, play physical, isn't gonna work. Ottowa stepped up and played just as physical, matching them hit for hit. If I'm correct, it's been over 4 playoff games since the Flyers scored a regulation playoff goal. Islanders playoff wins this year - 0 Flyers regulation playoff goals scored this year - 0 Rangers games and playoff goals scored this year - 0 I guess in a strange way, we are in the same boat. ___________________________________________________________________ I'm bigger than the Devil combined with Schindler's list. | ||||

This makes the Flyers 97 Cup Finals performance look like a stellar effort. And of course I shed plenty of tears to another Cupless Flyers season. | Psychopath Registered: Mar. 01 | Ok, here's the real question - is Philly just playing like shit or is Ottawa really that good? I have pretty much been watching the Isles-Leafs series (2-2 BABY!!! GO ISLES!!!!), so I haven't seen a whole lot of the Philly-Ottawa series. What is the problem here? Is Lalime standing on his head? Is Philly just standing around? Not scoring in regulation in 5 straight playoff games is unheard of. Looking at the roster makes it almost mind-boggling. We won our division this year and made it to the playoffs for the 600th year in a row. It's just a matter of time before we win a Cup. Synder is a very very determined man. | O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | They got Bure with like a week left in the season. There biggest problem is toughness and defense with Holik and maybe Guerin, the Rangers will get that.
