If I registered on Jan. 28 2002 and have 6855 posts at a rate of 17.09 per day, then how many posts would I have to make today to average 18 posts per day?

  What Do You Do?
Posted by: Keyser Soze - 03-05-2003, 04:59 PM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (53)

I'm sitting at work, managing projects for different business systems at a big pharma company in Princeton. Somehow I find time to post here frequently during the day. I do a bunch of different things, sometimes I work with different departments and get them to work together to get projects off the ground, other times i'll be arranging to have outside contractors come in and setup an application. I'm also a part-time pseudo rock star and CDIH assistant administrator/jack and gonzo's flunkie.

So, what do you do?

SMC Router Firewall Issue - Poke A Hole For Me
Posted by: Keyser Soze - 03-05-2003, 04:49 PM - Forum: Über Geek Zone - Replies (2)

I'm having trouble figuring out how to configure my SMC router to allow me to FTP and PC Anywhere into my PC.

I thought I had added entries in the config program to open the ports necessary (21 for FTP, i forget the one for PC Anywhere, its at home) but its still not working.

If anyone can assist me, I would greatly appreciate it, not to mention give you yet another FTP to leech from.

Kurt Angle Gone for a Year
Posted by: Jack - 03-05-2003, 01:20 AM - Forum: The Faggy Artistic Forum - Replies (19)

Looks like Edge will have someone to keep him company. :disappointed:

Quote:Two separate sources have informed 1Wrestling.com that Kurt Angle's visit to the doctor has not gone as smoothly as many were hoping, and that his neck injury appears to be bad enough to require surgery. Talk within the WWE is that Angle could be out for a year following neck surgery.

As we reported on the Newsline yesterday, Angle, who has been working with a bad neck, aggravated it this past weekend in South Africa. Talk backstage at Raw yesterday was that Angle was going to the doctor to have it examined, but that unless he was specifically told not to, he would try to make it to Wrestlemania. It appears now he may not have a choice in the matter.

There has been no official announcement from WWE regarding this matter, and I have yet to hear what they plan to do as far as the Wrestlemania match with Brock Lesnar is concerned. It will be interesting to see what takes place at the Smackdown taping tonight.

Benoit, Guerrero and a few others are going to have to step up to the plate and start swinging till they hit a couple o homers... Taker, Show, and Lesnar cannot hold up Smackdown on their own.

Can someone explain this to me?? - Pimped out minivans
Posted by: JimmyBlueEyes - 03-04-2003, 11:25 PM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (20)

So I'm driving home today on the Van Wyck and I get behind this Plymouth Voyager. A minivan with like 4 kids inside. And on the back window is one of those white drawing things. It was Sylvester and Tweety. I'm thinking to myself, "Why the fuck would you do something like this to a minivan??" In the corner of the window was the Guatemala reflective sticker. I've seen things like this before. A beat up minivan with the Yankees NY on it. Can someone explain what the allure is of these things and why someone who has obviusly past their youth is doing this to their cars??? Do they realize how dumb it looks?? Thank you for your time and have a lovely day!!!
