I will most likely just flip to the Golden Globes during the Raider/Titans commercials but I am interested in seeing who will win in some pretty competitive categories this year.
In Ron and Fez fashion, I will pick who I WANT to win and who I think WILL win.
Best dramatic film
About Schmidt
Gangs of New York
The Pianist
The Hours
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
WANT: Gangs Of New York, Daniel Day Lewis was a bad motherfucker in this movie. The ending was rushed and I must admit I haven't even seen the other ones so Gangs wins by default.
WILL: I could see The Hours winning because its getting so much buzz. However Gangs is a classic hollywood style epic that usually wins these awards. I'd have to stick with Gangs again here.
Best dramatic actress
Salma Hayek - Frida
Nicole Kidman - The Hours
Julianne Moore - Far From Heaven
Meryl Streep - The Hours
Diane Lane - Unfaithful
WANT: Salma Hayek, just cause shes hot and shes dating one of my favorite actors, Ed Norton.
WILL: Meryl Streep, she always seems to win and the critics seem to have a hard on for Hours right now.
Best dramatic actor
Adrian Brody - The Pianist
Michael Caine - The Quiet American
Daniel Day Lewis - Gangs of New York
Leonardo DiCaprio - Catch Me If You Can
Jack Nicholson - About Schmidt
WANT: Daniel Day Lewis. Just go see it and theres nothing else that needs to be said. He fucking owns.
WILL: Daniel Day Lewis, or they're retarded. Although I totally could see Jack winning.
Best director
Spike Jonze - Adaptation
Peter Jackson - The Two Towers
Stephen Daldry - The Hours
Rob Marshall - Chicago
Alexander Payne - About Schmidt
Martin Scorsese - Gangs of New York
WANT: Scorsese. He's been snubbed too many times.
WILL: Rob Marshall, cause they always snub Scorcese.
WON: Martin Scorsese - Gangs Of New York
Best screenplay
Charlie Kaufman - Adaptation
Bill Condon - Chicago
David Hare - The Hours
Todd Haynes - Far From Heaven
Payne and Jim Taylor - About Schmidt
WANT: Adaption, its harder to write weird shit like this.
WILL: The Hours. Cause they won't give it the best picture and this is sort of like the consolation prize.
WON: Payne and Jim Taylor - About Schmidt
Best actress musical or comedy
Maggie Gyllenhaal - Secretary
Goldie Hawn - The Banger Sisters
Nia Vardalos - My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Renee Zellweger - Chicago
Catherine Zeta Jones - Chicago
WANT: Nia Vardalos. Shes seems like shes outside the Hollywood loop and its nice to see people like that win.
WILL: Renee Zellweger. Chicago is going to clean up, I wouldn't be caught dead seeing this but apparently its spectacular or something. Whatever. I might go to stare at Catherine Zeta Jones' ass.
WON: Renee Zellweger
Best musical or comedy
About a Boy
Adaptation
Chicago
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
Nicholas Nickleby
WANT: Adaption. Spike Jonez is cool.
WILL: Chicago. Gay.
Best actor in musical or comedy
Hugh Grant - About a Boy
Nicolas Cage - Adaptation
Kieran Culkin - Igby Goes down
Richard Gere - Chicago
Adam Sandler - Punch Drunk Love
WANT: Adam Sandler. How much would that rock? Kieran Culkin winning would be equally cool.
WILL: Richard Gere, just cause he seem like the most lame nomination, and thats how these geeks are.
WON: Richard Gere
Best supporting actress
Meryl Streep - Adaptation
Kathy Bates - About Schmidt
Cameron Diaz - Gangs of New York
Queen Latifah - Chicago
Susan Sarandon - Igby Goes Down
WANT: Kathy Bates. Anyone who looks like her and is willing to get butt ass naked deserves something.
WILL: Kathy Bates. Anyone who looks like her and is willing to get butt ass naked deserves something.
WON: Meryl Streep
Best supporting actor
Chris Cooper, "Adaptation"
Ed Harris, "The Hours"
Paul Newman, "Road to Perdition"
Dennis Quaid, "Far From Heaven"
John C. Reilly, "Chicago"
WANT: John C Reilly, I think he's a oool actor.
WILL: Paul Newman, he's getting old and he doesn't have many flicks left in him. They like to send them off with a trophy.
WON: Chris Cooper
SERIES: DRAMA
"24" - Fox
"The Shield" - FX
"Six Feet Under" - HBO
"The Sopranos" - HBO
"The West Wing" - NBC
WANT: 24. Best show on TV.
WILL: 24, ditto.
WON: The Shield
SERIES: MUSICAL OR COMEDY
"Curb Your Enthusiasm" - HBO
"Friends" - NBC
"Sex and the City" - HBO
"The Simpsons" - FOX
"Will & Grace" - NBC
WANT: Curb, better than Sopranos this year.
WILL: Curb, I think they might actually get one right this time.
WON: Curb
ACTRESS: DRAMA
Edie Falco, "The Sopranos"
Jennifer Garner, "Alias"
Rachel Griffiths, "Six Feet Under"
Marg Helgenberger, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"
Allison Janney, "The West Wing"
WANT: Rachel Griffiths, she is such a dirty whore on that show.
WILL: Edie Falco. The critics probrobly thought this was the best Soprano's season yet, fucking dolts.
WON: Edie Falco
ACTOR: DRAMA
Michael Chiklis, "The Shield"
James Gandolfini, "The Sopranos"
Peter Krause, "Six Feet Under"
Martin Sheen, "The West Wing"
Kiefer Sutherland, "24"
WANT: James Gandolfini, the plot sucked, but his acting still owns.
WILL: James Gandolfini, see Edie Falco.
WON: Michael Chiklis
ACTRESS: MUSICAL OR COMEDY
Jennifer Aniston, "Friends"
Bonnie Hunt, "Life with Bonnie"
Jane Kaczmarek, "Malcolm in the Middle"
Debra Messing, "Will & Grace"
Sarah Jessica Parker, "Sex and the City"
WANT: Jennifer Aniston, for great nipples in every episode. Must be cold in that studio.
WILL: Debra Messing. They love that fag hag.
WON: Jennifer Aniston. "Friends"
ACTOR: MUSICAL OR COMEDY
Larry David, "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
Matt LeBlanc, "Friends"
Bernie Mac, "The Bernie Mac Show"
Eric McCormack, "Will & Grace"
Tony Shalhoub, "Monk"
WANT: Larry David. Funniest fucker on TV.
WILL: Larry David. I hope.
WON: Tony Shalhoub. "Monk"

Who else would be the perfect candidate to cell for the 1 year anniversary of the cell? Except for the person for whom the cell was created, welcome home moron.
Figured i'd throw him in before he gave me an actual reason and something that i'd have to clean up.

the other thread had me thinking :twak:
Who were you bad for? Who kicked the habit, kicked the habit to the curb? Whose skin did you get under, but they finally shedded their skin?

the other thread had me thinking :twak:
Have you ever had someone you can't quit? They get under your skin & haunt you ... you would kill them if you thought you wouldn't miss them so ... you need it, you want it, you'll do anything for it ... then you get to like it ... the pain they cause you is good, cause you've been bad
Tell me who breaks your heart :burnfucker:

<div align="center">
What Is And What Should Never Be
(Page/Plant)
And if I say to you tomorrow. Take my hand, child, come with me.
It's to a castle I will take you, where what's to be, they say will be.
*Catch the wind, see us spin, sail away, leave today, way up high in the sky.
But the wind won't blow, you really shouldn't go, it only goes to show
That you will be mine, by takin' our time.
And if you say to me tomorrow, oh what fun it all would be.
Then what's to stop us, pretty baby. But What Is And What Should Never Be.
* Chorus
So if you wake up with the sunrise, and all your dreams are still as new,
And happiness is what you need so bad, girl, the answer lies with you.
* Chorus
Oh the wind wont blow and we really shouldn't go and it only goes to show.
Catch the wind, we're gonna see it spin, we're gonna...sail, little girl
do do do, bop bop a do-oh, my my my my my my yeah.
Everybody I know seems to know me well
but they're never gonna know that I move like Hell. </div>
