Just letting the boxing fans know. Saturday on HBO boxing after dark. Marco Antonio Barrera is taking on Johnny Tapia, has the potential of a great fight. Also has the potential to be a borefest, all depends on who shows up. The tough as nails tapia or the old and worn out tapia. The non stop action barrera or the catious barrera.
Still worth the watch.
In 2 weeks on PPV as well, Paulie Ayala takes on Erik Morales.
It's a partner switch off so to speak.
Barrera has Fought Morrales twice
Ayala has Fought Tapia twice as well.
Barrera and Morrales split their two fights at a win a piece.
Ayala handed tapia 2 losses, both of which were his first two and only 2 so far. Both decisions were highly controversial.

Well, it may be cold outside, but die hard baseball fans find stuff to worry about even in the winter time.
Just today alone there is all sorts of rumors regarding the 2 NY teams.
The Yankees seem to have made behind the scene deals for Japanese slugger Godzilla Matsui, who announced yesterday he will seek to play in the US. We all know how wrong Newspapers can be, but all have said that the Yankees have already made some sort of deal involving showing the Yomauri Giants on the Yes network.
Roger Clemens has (surprise, surprise) decided to take his $10Mill for free and become a free agent. Will the Yanks resign him, or will he go to a team like Texas?
Andy Petite may not be back with Yankees if you believe other rumors.
On the Mets front, they again continue to amaze me in what a joke the management is. It looks like now they will go and bring back Dave Wallace as a pitching coach, who isn't bad but obviously isn't Howe's choice, instead of trying to get Leo Mazzone who has put out the word he might be ready for a move.
And in today's biggest joke story, today's Newark Star Ledger today's story is about the Mets threatening to void 2 years of Mo Vaughn's contract if he doesn't lose weight. I'd love to hear what Donald Fehr has to say about that one... :twak:

I'm out and about this morning, just finished running an errand for my boss, my eyelids hardly staying open, when I pass a 7-11...I decide a cup of coffee might help perk me up so I pull in and get out of the car...I walk in and grab a cup, when what do I see? THAT'S RIGHT, a beautiful mug of Blueberry Creme, just sitting there, like the holy grail...So I pour myself a cup, pour in some creamer.....I'm hooked, I bought 2 cups of the stuff and they were gone before I got back home. Now I know why Gonzo called it the crack of coffee....Drugs can't hold a candle to this shit, it puts you in this constant state of euphoria that must be experienced...
I want more, but I'm too lazy to drive and get some more.

A study out of the UK recently has suggested that the number of children raised by a father other than their natural father is higher than we might think. The study estimated that women have affairs at a higher rate when ovulating. Based on that, the study believes that as many as 1 out of a 100 women get pregnant from men other than their spouse or future husband and are afraid to let them know. The child is born and the supposed natural father never knows the truth.
So who is your daddy? Better yet, who on this board is that one out of a hundred? Who do you think that persons real father is?
