Well, I have been real busy lately and have not really gotten the ball rolling with my NCAA rom yet but I have had time to tinker with something else. It always bugged me how the NES version was using the 1991 schedule and had the players and teams ranked for the 1990 season. So what I did was edit the rom so it emulates the 1990 season. Here are some of the updates:

*Edited the schedule so it matches up with the 1990 season perfectly. To fit the correct bye weeks in the game I just swapped two weeks around. The schedule is moved here and there a bit, but all the matchups are the same as 1990

*Edited some of the team sim codes so the players and teams will simulate accuratly

*Edited some of the faces so they actually looked like the players. Anyone ever notice how some of the faces were just off???

*Edited some team colors so they would be more vivid.

*Edited QB Bills, QB Browns and QB Eagles to Jim Kelly, Bernie Kosar and Randall Cunningham

NEW YORK -- Could the New York Knicks' preseason take a worse turn than it reportedly has Sunday?

Power forward Antonio McDyess is expected to miss "most, if not the entire season" with a knee injury he suffered in a preseason loss Saturday night, the New York Daily News reports on its Web site.

The Daily News cites a person close to McDyess in its report. The newspaper said the Knicks have a 5 p.m. ET conference call scheduled to address the injury.

A Knicks spokesman would neither confirm nor deny the severity of McDyess' injury except to say that the club would address the media late Sunday afternoon.

It is unclear if McDyess suffered ligament damage in his surgically repaired left knee, but the Daily News' source indicated that the Knicks are expecting to play without McDyess, who was acquired from Denver last June for Marcus Camby, Mark Jackson and the No. 7 pick in the 2002 draft.

McDyess' injury was initially diagnosed as a hyperextension. He was able to limp off the court under his own power, slamming the scorer's table with his hand as he headed to the locker room with 1:55 left in Saturday's 94-87 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

After dunking a miss by teammate Howard Eisley, McDyess fell to the floor clutching his left knee. Surgery on the same knee last season -- exactly one year to the day Saturday -- limited McDyess to just 10 games last season.

"I don't want to go through this again if it's anything major," McDyess told reporters after the game. "I just can't do that. I'm just hoping it's something minor, I get it treated and I'm back soon."

McDyess had 23 points and 15 rebounds before going down, his third straight strong performance for the Knicks. He was one of the lone bright spots on a night when the Knicks committed 28 turnovers, including seven by Allan Houston and five each by Shandon Anderson and Kurt Thomas.

The Knicks already have lost Latrell Sprewell for 6-to-8 weeks because of a broken bone in his right hand.

"I just pray it isn't too serious,'' coach Don Chaney said Saturday night. "He really is a stud. If he's healthy, he's destined for a great year."

McDyess originally injured the knee during training camp a year ago and had surgery to repair the patella tendon. He returned and played 10 games, but soreness in the knee forced him to sit out the final month of the season.

I went to yahoo's dvd site to see the upcoming releases and read some of the reviews for movies. The idiocy of some people is priceless.
