After further inspection of the actual play-by-play, if that fan didn't get in the way and allowed Alou to catch the ball, that inning may have ended 3-3. The Cubs wouldn't have been assured of victory, but at least they would have had a shot in extra innings.

That said, I just read that the fan had to be escorted out because the others in the section were harrassing him and throwing shit. Good for them I say.
