The Yankees greet Boston with open arms....
Come one come all

How can this happen 4 years in a row????????
I felt like vomitting at the end of today's game.
The A's are now 0-9 when attempting to eliminate their opponent in a playoff series.
That is a serious lack of killer instinct.
EDIT:
Fortunately for the Yankees, however, Boston had to burn both Pedro and Derek Lowe for Game 5 in Oakland. By the time they can make an appearance, the Yanks should be up at least 2-0 in the ALCS.
Low made about 10 pitches.

Low made about 10 pitches.
The way managers obsess about any pitching performance, including pitch counts, I still don't see them bringing him back on anything less than a full four days' rest.
With Game 1 on Wednesday, I presume Game 2 is on Friday, so they may use him by Game 3. If they bring Pedro in for that game (which is more likely), then we won't see Lowe until #4.
In any event, their rotation, which was weak to begin with, is even more fucked up for this series. Pedro's not getting more than 2 starts in this series, if it even gets that far.
October after October...we slowly turn into the Atlanta Braves....

No, you don't.
Oakland fans actually come out to the stadium to see their team play.
I swear, I think Atlanta turned into mini-Chicago for a while, with all the Cubs fans able to buy tickets.
