In case you're not watching right now, up in Fenway....the YANKEES and the red sox are the top of the 8th and they're ahead 4-3 with probably the wildest fourth inning i've ever seen where we saw Manny Ramirez act like a typical hot headed dominican threw down a 72 year old Don Zimmer to the ground and that was after faking ducking a high fastball from Clemens.
i think this series will be a close one but, the YANKEES will win it in 5
in the NLCS, the Chicago Cubs led by Sammy "I put cork in my bat" Sosa will take out the Florida Marlins in 6
Bottom line is that the CURSE OF THE BAMBINO will continue.

And here I thought we could all sit down and enjoy a nice, <i>civil</i> contest between two Hall-of-Fame pitchers...
Instead we got the Karim Garcia plunk, followed by his hard slide, followed by Manny "faking" like you said, benches clearing, Zimmer getting chucked around...
and then in the top of the 9th, some groundskeeper working for Fenway got into the Yanks bullpen and tried geting into it with the relief pitchers (and Karim Garcia got involved again, being the nearest outfielder).
Never dull between these two teams, huh?
That was the most exciting game I've ever watched. I think my heart is shot now. Fucking Martinez has no respect for the elderly. Nevertheless, the Yanks won as rightfully they should.
