Ok, suppose we shoot for the middle/end of August?
Pick a weekend that's good for you, put it here.
If you know of a cheaper/better place, put it here.
So far this is what I have.....

Drive North on Route 206 for approximately 9 miles, you will come to a set of traffic lights on your right hand side will be a Diamond Auto Glass company, make a right onto Stickles Pond Road, then we are approximately 1/10 mile on the left-hand side.

| Employee recognition - Does it tickle your fancy? |

Seeing as we use this board while at work, allow me to ask for your viewpoints on the matters of employee motivation and recognition. I am about to announce our employee of the month for May. The employee of the Month gets preferred parking, a free day off, a $50 Amex gift certificate, their name on a plaque displayed in our lobby, a personal certificate and accolades from their peers. We have a defined set of minimum requirements, attendance, customer service, contributions etc.
We also do some other things like Friday barbecues in the summer months, occasional Friday’s at a local pub etc.
Do you think these things work? Do you appreciate if your employer does these things?
What the hell, I have to justify my time here somehow. I will convince myself I’m fact finding today.

RAW's being entrially written by Brian Gerwetz, and the last two have been stellar in my opinion, putting forth new plotlines, new people, etc. In the last two we've seen a new Horsemen grouping, with Beniot as their power-heel. And, as of last night, the NWO has reformed with new leadership and power. BookerT/Golddust combo provides comedy relief, and a new face-turn plotline. Brock still powers his way through the rankings...and RVD is probably going to have a major push for the summer, and his match on last weeks RAW with Guerrero was incredible.
Heyman is being said to write Smackdown...and the only interesting storyline is Kurt Angle's shaved head/wig debacle. There is a serious power outage on Smackdown, which makes me think that WWE is begging to have The Rock back. And no matter how stangant his character was, one can see lately that he is needed just to move plotlines and create dichotemy. And, maybe why they are bending over backwards to get a shot at the overrated, underskilled, Goldberg. Jericho has fallen back to Angle-level, Edge still can't get over the midcard hump, Test isn't rising in stature
What are your thoughts????

I just got my ticket for the Brooklyn, Northsix show yesterday. So now I'll be seeing them TWO nights in a row!!!! The second night is at Bowery Ballroom.
They are without a doubt one of the heaviest bands out there now, and the great thing about them is that they're in no hurry to get anywhere in their songs. You may have them playing a heavy slow riff for 5 minutes before the lyrics actually kick in.
I've turned a bunch of people on to them in the past few years, and not one of them has ever not liked it. I think the reason is that they change with just about every album. They can go from a hard rocking album full of catchy tunes, and then turn around and put out an album of 50 minutes of noise and feedback. Granted, there's alot of people that don't like the noise albums, but I think you need to have an open mind for it and not just think of it as the band trying to pull a fast one.
Another great thing about the band is their interviews. They know how fucked up the music business is, and they tell it like it is. They also know how obscure they are, and take advantage of that. They very often have interviewers that have NEVER heard their music, so they take that opportunity to fuck with them. Makes for some hilarious reading.
The Melvins may be one of the most influential bands to come out in the last 20 years, yet, they remain unknown. They're one of those bands that inspire all the other great bands, but still have a very small fan base.
Check out their stuff, and if you can, for god sakes, go to one of their shows on June 19th, or 20th.
A great album to start with would be either Bullhead or Stoner Witch.
