It's essentially known that Bill Maher has been fired from ABC and he's just running down his contract. Unlike many, I actually like the show. I find it somewhat smart, has newstories I wouldn't here about elsewhere and I agree with a lot (not all) of what Bill has to say (fuck the animals). and even though I'm not conservative it is one of the few network shows that give conservatives a place to speak their mind and even though they mostly come across as foolish, it's a free exchange of ideas.

Anyway, ABC is looking for a replacement and is actually looking towards Kimmel to do a show which I find disappoitning for two reasons- a) no Carrolla might lose the excellent Man Show rapport and b) possibly no more Man Show.

So what I'm posing to you is this- is Kimmell a good replacement (obviously it won't be politically incorrect anymore) and if not, who would be?

Personally:
I like there to be a decent story line.

I don't like it when they meet, and say "let's fuck" and action.

I don't like it when bad music drowns out the sounds.

And I get bored when the same people are fucking for too long.

I'm seriously considering buying a house instead of renting and throwing money out the window. NY is just way to expensive. Can't find anything even half-way decent for under $350,000. So, I'm considering NJ. Looking at <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.yhd.com">http://www.yhd.com</a><!-- w -->, there are a lot of houses for sale for under $250,000.

The problem is, I don't know anything about NJ. Which towns are good and which aren't? How easy is it to commute every day into Manhattan? Stuff like that.

Anybody else have this problem?

Playstation 3?!?

One of the reasons I picked PS2 over any other game system (besides the awesome games) was the promise that it would be an expandable and upgradeable system.

Forgot who it was who got the Beta on the internet connection, but that was supposed to be out a year ago. And that big bay was supposed to be for a harddrive. And the mouse and keyboard are out, but there's no purpose for them yet. So, so far, the promise of expandability hasn't been fulfilled.

And now they're talking about a PS3?!?
Alright, much more powerful processor is ALWAYS a bonus, but how about the expansions for PS2 while your at it?

We all loved the old QVC guy who would sell sports collectibles late a night. Gem Mint 10 McGwire cards and Autographed Jordan Plaques. Sosa Rookies, Tiger Woods Gem Mint 10's etc, etc.

I never fell for his mind tricks cause if ever there was a true life Jedi Master he was it. His Jedi mind tricks were strong and he could sell you shit you knew in no way actually was as good as it was described.

He'd try and convince you to buy a McGwire rookie that booked for a 100 by saying cards like it sold for 5 thousand, keyword "like it" Or That he had a Derek Jeter rookie from college for 30 bucks. It was better than a MLB rookie cause it was from even before he played in the majors. So it's a rookie or a rookie and crads just like it sell for 3 thousand yet you can have it for 10 dollars on stretch pay.

I never fell for it. Then last saturday I was flipping through channels and I saw the sports collectible show with the new QVC guy. They had some bonds piece they were selling. I figured I'll give it a watch and see how the new guy is doing.

30 minutes later I am on the phone and buying an item... I am ashamed they hooked me. Yet it wasn't even old Don, it was the fake QVC guy who hooked me.

It was a 10 autograph item set. You had a guaranteed signed Barry Bonds baseball, Willie Mays baseball and a Joe Namath Autograph plus 7 more including a deceased member of the Hall Of Fame.... how could I not? Hold me.......

With my luck the other 7 will be fuckin people I hate ofcourse cause it includes every pro sport. I'll end up with a set of napkins signed by the bulls team.

I'll be getting it by the end of the week, but I had to share my pain.

There is nothing more annoying than clicking on a thread (that's usually a bloated 6 pages of chat and inanity), starting to read it, and then having the screen being jerked clear down to the bottom. FIX IT ALREADY!!! When I click on a thread I want to fucking read it IMMEDIATELY! I don't want to fucking keep scrolling to the top, you fucking motherfuckers! It's a touchy situation!!!
