24 DEATH POOL RULES

Character Selection
-----------------------
Each player can play up to 2 characters per week from the designated list.
The characters on the designated list are ranked by their prominence in the show (confirmed by the board). There are two (2) tiers by which characters are ranked.
Players may “write-in” characters that are not on the designated list from the current or previous seasons. All write-in characters must be confirmed to be alive before the upcoming episode (to be confirmed by the board). All write-in characters are in tier 2.
Players may change characters up until noon on the day of the next episode. If the next episode is on a weekend/holiday, changes must be submitted on the prior business day. If changes are not submitted by the deadline, you automatically retain your prior selection.
Players may not select characters that are terminally ill or fatally/mortally wounded in the preceding episode, unless they already selected that character in the previous week. The administrator will update the list weekly with eligible characters.


For a #1 tier character, the winning player receives the entire pot.
For a #2 tier character (from the designated list or write-in), the winning player receives half the pot.
The death of a tier #1 characters always trumps the death of a tier #2 character.
If multiple players select the same character within the same tier group, the tiebreaker will be the total amount of kills by Jack Bauer during that episode.


Tie Breaker
Weekly — If more that one player selects the same character, please provide the total number of confirmed kills by Jack Bauer. (confirmed by the board)
Cumulative — For every week in February, all players must give the total number of confirmed kills by Jack Bauer.

Once upon a time, on my way to Bar 9 with Pantera in his SUV, he played a band for me. I listened to it and turned to him and said: "who the hell is this?!!? This is great!"

They might be the greatest unknown band of all-time. Most of their work was distributed through Napster's peer-to-peer...and have a huge following under the radar. To prove that power...their final show when they broke up was at the Hatch in Boston in 2004...and 110,000 came out to see them...causing absolute panic for the Boston police. It is the largest gathering for an independent band ever.

They are reforming (all have solo projects) for 3 shows to benefit Zimbabwe. There are now the only independent band to sell out Madison Square Garden...not once...but twice, and a 3rd show is on sale tomorrow, which will sell out as well.

Geely Autos is holding a competition for designers all over the world to help it design a new logo, the criteria for the new logo is that should symbolically representative, artistic, as well as being practical and being able to embody the corporate concept and spirit of Geely Holding group.

However, we at China Car Times believe that Geely should forget the logo, leave it as it is we say, instead they should work on their new slogan for 2007, which is ‘Beyond_the value‘ yes, that is an under_score. Oh, Geely is throwing down a 3.6 million RMB cash prize (thats about $461,000USD) for the winning logo.
