Monster Airport? - Guess who I saw today...
Posted by: Kid Afrika - 09-09-2003, 01:04 AM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (72)

So there I was sitting in DFW waiting to board my plane when I noticed this hot looking chick walking by with a full arm tattoo. So I'm thinking what kind of freaky chick would do that, right... then I looked at her face! It was Janine the porn star and who was walking with her? None other than Monster Garage's Jesse James of West Coast Choppers fame.

I wanted to get a picture with them, but I figured they probably didn't want to be bothered. Anyway, kinda cool to see them.

Mr. Style,

You have my commitment that I will allow you to purchase me numerous amounts of alcholic beverages after the Red Sox win the American League East.

If, somehow, the ragged Yankees manage to stave off the greatest assortment of offensive firepower in the history of baseball, I will get you drunk.

The night would be perfect if somehow DIG and Arpi could be rangled in as high comedy will ensue.

However, I reserve the right to delay this little shindig until:
1. After I am employed
2. Have an apartment.

Therefore, though I am moving to NYC within the next few days, I will be mostly out of pocket until November.

The end

If you know how, and most of you do...i recommend you go acquire a copy of the halo pc press beta. its pretty damn cool, despite some expected glitches due largely to the fact that the public isnt supposed to be seeing it. it also has LAN support, which i havent gotten to try yet.

  Scarface Box Set
Posted by: GonzoStyle - 09-07-2003, 09:58 PM - Forum: Entertainment Unlimited - Replies (23)

I am so fuckin stoked for this, the box set comes with a remastered version. Plus it comes with the original 1932 version starring Paul Muni which is also amazing.

It also comes with lobby cards and a replica of the gold money clip pacino has in the movie, I know LZ and Gomez don't need one but still. The box set itself is made too look like the cigar box pacino had, you can see the pic below.

It's coming out sept 30th.

Quote:TRUCKEE, California (Sept. 3) - Ron Hunt's friends and family have been calling him the ``Miracle Man'' ever since an 18-inch-long drill bit poked through his eye and out the back of his skull.

``It didn't seem possible for him to be alive, seeing him with a drill bit through his head,'' his nephew Ben Hunt said.

The construction worker from Truckee, California, lost an eye but survived the freak accident Aug. 15 with no brain damage after falling from a ladder and onto the drill.

The 1.5-inch diameter chip auger drill bit was still in his head when his brother, Chris Hunt, and nephew, Ben, met him in a hospital emergency room in Reno, Nevada.

``The nurses braced us for it before we saw him,'' Ben Hunt told the Sierra Sun newspaper of Truckee. ``It didn't seem real - it seemed like a movie. I wasn't sure what to feel.''

Doctors explained that the drill bit pushed his brain aside rather than pushing into it, which likely would have caused serious brain damage or death, Ben Hunt said.

While drilling above his head on Aug. 15, the six-foot ladder Ron Hunt was standing on started to wobble so he tossed the drill aside - as construction workers are trained to do. He then fell off the ladder face-first and onto the drill.

``By the time I was falling, and I let the drill go down, I was already on top of it,'' Ron Hunt told ABC's ``Good Morning America'' TV show on Tuesday.

``I ran my hands up the drill bit, up to my eye, and put my other hand in the back of my head and felt it coming through the back of my head,'' he said. ``And that's where pretty much the shock set in.''

He was taken by helicopter to Washoe Medical Center in Reno. After weighing their options, doctors essentially unscrewed the bit to remove it.

``We would have cut it off, but after a few minutes of drilling, we noticed that it was loose. And so we just put down our blade and twisted the bit,'' said Dr. Paul Ludlow, the surgeon who performed the operation.

His nephew thinks he'll be able to laugh about it some day.

``It's just going to be one of those stories,'' Ben Hunt told the Sierra Sun. ``He'll joke around with his glass eye and pop it out.''

That loud noise you just heard... - was sean's head exploding

The Dolphins, a supposed super bowl contender, were beaten by the Texans 21-20 on a last second field goal. It was good of cbs to let us watch the last quarter of that game after cutting away from the destruction that was buffalo beating N.E. I was very impressed by Buffalo's defense, they made Brady look like a little bitch.
I don't know if it was the fact the Rams couldn't get out of their own way, or the Giants defense is just that good, but I was very impressed by the Giants. They are going far in the NFC.

anyone watchin this tonight? It's on showtime at 8pm I think.

I believe basically, it's about bush and his staffs reactions on 9/11.

It's between this or the Pancho Villa movie on HBO, since HBO plays shit ad naseum like MTV, I will just catch the pancho villa films tomorow on HBO2.

Though I am changing the channel to hear Bush's speech tonight at 8:30.
