I know HHH has done a lot of bad things, but I give the guy a lot of credit for finishing 2 important matches while siffering major injuries in his tearing of his quad muscle and his throat injury. It is obvious the entire internet hates him. Yes I don't like things that he does, but I still respect him and I still think he is one of the most intense and hard working people in the WWE. I know he has the backstage people and he is plowing the bosses daughter, but is their anyone who works harder than him. How many people come back that quickly from a major quad injury that he suffered.

Triple H on how long his injury will keep him sidelined: "They (doctors) told me not to wrestle for at least ten days. It's mostly just until the swelling goes down. Once the swelling goes down, I have to see. They'll take more pictures inside to make sure there wasn't any damage. But as of right now, they think it's not structural damage, it's just swollen tissue. And unfortunately when your throat swells, you can't breath."

Triple H on what could have happened: "This sounds extreme, but the doctor explained to me that if somebody dropped even a ten or 20 lb. weight on you from a few feet in the air and it hit you on the throat, it could crush your windpipe and kill you instantly. For me, the doctor said it was a lot of things. Rob tried to protect me as best he could. I rolled with the shot. My neck's very think from training it. All those things protected me, and a bit of luck too. It could have been a lot worse, and that's why they kept me last night and wouldn't let me leave the hospital, because they weren't sure how bad it was, and if it did swell more, it could have still killed me."

Triple H on whether he blames Van Dam: "No. This is a tough business. And there are certain moves in the business that are high-risk moves. When we do them, we take high risk, that's why they're called high-risk moves. Every time that you do one, the odds go up that something's going to happen. Every time that you do one, the odds go up that something's going to happen. And this time, something happened. The time was right, and there it was. This has nothing to do with Rob. I feel completely safe in the ring with Rob every time I'm in there with him. It was just one of those things. It wasn't his fault, it wasn't my fault. It just happened. In this business, there's a fraction of an inch between safe and not safe, and we were on the wrong side of the fraction."

A while back I was asking advice on putting down a hardwood floor. We moved into a house with 70's carpet and were ready to replace it. The wife persuaded me to put down a wood instead of carpet. Barely. And I got advice on how to do it. I was going to do it myself because we have 4 rooms and we decided to leave on room empty. Put the wood down move onto another. I was ready to do this because of 1) the cost 2) conveinence of not moving everything 3) because of the cost and because you can't get anyone to do 300 sq feet. They would have a min of 1,000 sq feet.

Enter wife's father. We will get some one to do it.
Me NO!
Wife: just let him look.
Me NO! See above reasons. If he wants to look, well maybe look at wood, BUT I AM NOT PREPARED TO BUY ALL OF THE WOOD AT ONCE. Where am I going to store it? How am I going to pay for it.
Wife: He wants to help.

Father last week Sunday: I can get someone to do it for $5. Look really nice. You no want to do it. Too much work. 1,000 feet minimum.
Me: NO! I can't afford it, I don't want anyone IN my house. I am going to do it. I had a friend over yesterday to help me plan it.
Wife: He just had a heart problem. Let him feel good by helping us.
Me: Fine, but He is not addressing my concerns.
Wife: It would be beter to have someone else do it.
Me: ARE YOU FUCKING LISTENING.

Last night. Wife comes home from her fucking greasy gumba dago wop family tradition of every fucking Sunday of going for an hour fucking drive to and from Yonkers.
I got good news and bad news.

Wife: He bought the wood, 1,000 sq feet, but it's unfinished. But we don't have to pay for it. High quality.

SO the fucker backed me into a corner. Because the wood is unfinished, I HAVE to have someone come in the sand it and stain it, even if I do lay it. That's the one piece of advice I DID pick from my friends. So if someone is coming in anyways, well then might as well let them lay it to.

Here I am, with a fucking Chevy Nova on my front yard that an uncle bought for me. He spent $1,000 on it, but I have to spend $8,000 to get the car running. And if I don't fix the car, I will have insulted him.

Oh, and I have to take a half day of from work so that the wood can be delivered.




Advice: Should I still lay the floor one room at a time like I was planning to all along? I really can't see us moving everything downstairs so that the stain and finish can have their three days to dry.

Should this have been put in anger managment?

so last night, i was at some porn sites, usual fare, but now, i have a problem. whenever i right click, theres an option near the bottom for ">>>XXX MOVIES<<<" and i cant get rid of it. any idea where the files for it might be? i went around on a delete spree, looking for files made today and ran clean sweep and ad aware. anybody got an idea how to get rid of it?
