  Physical apperance

Stemming from an earlier statement I read.

Would you date someone who was not necessarily "attractive" but whose personality was so awesome and fit yours to perfection. Would you be comfortable being seen in public with this person. Or would you not even bother for fear of what others would say about you?

I'm going to get high, high, high - Will your generation change the laws?
Posted by: OAS - 10-23-2002, 01:38 PM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (14)

I am curious about the future possibility of you young ones changing the world we live in. Seeing as many of you support drug use in one form or another, do you think your generation will change the laws legalizing or softening the punishments for drug use?

My generation was labeled the “dope smoking hippies” and my parents and grandparents generation were convinced that we would be legalizing drugs and the whole country would be “going to pot”. Well that didn’t happen and my generation did just the opposite and toughened many laws pertaining to drug use.

So do you think you’re 4/20 generation will change the laws? If you feel it is ok to use drugs, shouldn’t it be legal? How will the laws get changed? Or do you fear you’re generation will mature to the same point that mine did and determine drugs aren’t ok and will they step up the war on drugs?

For the record, even though I bust on you from time to time, I do believe that if you want to use drugs, more power to you, it’s your choice. I do think the whole drug scene is bad news. Even if you are just sitting at home getting high, minding your own business, somebody, somewhere, somehow paid a dear price in getting your product into your hands. I know, I sound just like the current anti-drug commercials.

Hella Good - no doubt

The waves keep on crashing on me for some reason
But your love keeps on coming like a thunderbolt
Come here a little closer
'Cause I wanna see you baby real close up

You got me geeling hella good
So let's just keep on dancing
You hold me like should
So I'm gonna keep on dancing

A performance deserving of standing ovations
And who would have thought it'd be the two us?
So don't wake me if I'm dreaming
'Cause I'm in the mood come on and give it up

You got me feeling hella good
So let's just keep on dancing
You hold me like you should
So I'm gonna keep on dancing

You got me feeling hella good
So let's just keep on dancing
You hold me like you should
So I'm gonna keep on dancing

You got me feeling hella good
So let's just keep on dancing
You hold me like you should
So I'm gonna keep on dancing

You got me feeling hella good
So let's just keep on dancing
You hold me like you should
So I'm gonna keep on dancing

**SPOILERS** WWE SmackDown! Taping Results
Story By: Fred Cook
October 23, 2002

The highlights of the Smackdown show were:

Rikishi b Matt Hardy - Big Show ran in after and choke slammed Rikishi and challenged Lesnar for the title

They did an angle where Angle & Benoit got a trophy from Stephanie for winning the tag titles. Both guys argued over who was the captain. It wound up with Stephanie taking an accidental bump and guess what, the trophy broke

Noble b Tajiri to keep the cruiser belt in about 5:00

Edge & Mysterio b Guerreros in a good match. Looks to set up Angle & Benoit vs. Edge & Mysterio rematch. Can't complain about that

Big angle. Undertaker called out Lesnar. Heyman noted that Lesnar beat Undertaker in his own specialty. Undertaker used the injury as an excuse to a point, but said that five years ago, broken arm or broken leg, he'd have won the match. Kind of portrayed Undertaker as over the hill. I wouldn't want to do it that way. Show came out and guess what. Show took credit for Lesnar's win. See, Show gave Undertaker such a beating in all those 2:00 squash matches that he lost that Undertaker wasn't the same guy anymore. Since Show is being given the big push, Undertaker agreed. Show ended up throwing Undertaker off the stage and they did a long injury angle which looked to write Undertaker off. Seems to set up Lesnar vs. Show as the main event feud. You can kiss next month's buy rate goodbye.

Kidman b Cena using the ropes. You know the 50/50 drill.

Benoit b Angle when Chavo & Eddy interfered. Benoit didn't know they laid Angle out when he pinned him. Good match but heat was said to be disappointing. Not much heat after the Undertaker angle for the rest of the show.

Banned from a board for the first time in my life. Sensitive little fucks over there. Can't even say "Fuck you" when someone requests it.

As much as that board sucks it kinda pisses me off.

Oh well. Back to not caring.

  Elimination chamber at survivor series
Posted by: Teenweek - 10-22-2002, 10:21 PM - Forum: The Faggy Artistic Forum - Replies (29)

I was right. It looks like they are bringing Wargames to WWE.
If this is true, it sounds awesome.

-- And finally, Eric Bischoff announced last night that at Survivor Series there will be a match that will make the blood bath we saw on Sunday during the Hell In A Cell match look like a walk in the park. At the moment, there is a VERY large possibility that WWE viewers could experience the first ever WWE War Games match, something created and coined by WCW.

The match, called The Elimination Chamber by Bischoff last night, is in a huge Cell, with two rings. Every two minutes a new participant enters, with it being handicap rules, and when all 10 men are in the ring Submissions and Pins become effective. It is very much like the old school Survivor Series matches, where the winners are the team with a member remaining at the end of the battle.

One possibility to make the match more of a blood bath than the Hell In A Cell, would be to have weapons littering the inside of the cage. No names have been released as to who will be participating in this match, but expect it to at least include somebody who will be willing to take a huge bump.
