Just burned the new Meshuggah elbum called Nothing, and the new In Flames. Both of the albums rock! Meshuggah is pretty technical in their music, and In Flames is more melodic death metal, but the new album is worlds better than their last effort Clayman. I forget the name of the new album, but it is excellent. Definatley check these albums out and fucking rock to them!!

Ok I completely ripped this off of another message board but I still think it's a good topic.
Lately Spain is trying ban the political wing of the ETA while france is trying to ban some far-right groups. In the US we are certainly more tolerant of fringe groups politically, I certainly doubt neo-nazis would be allowed to operate in France and Germany. In Spain they are now using an act of brutal violence to quash the Basques. Obviously in the 2nd example I think the us would have acted but they would not have outright banned the group. They would of course create trumped up charges and keep them in prison for an indefinite period of time.
Europeans tend to value personal freedoms more and it's no wonder things such as drug use are legal. In America people tend to value political freedoms more so you see a harder stand on personal freedoms.
I think the European approach and the American approach are both wrong. Look at the European approach. Germany and France are very strong in their anti-nazism policies yet they have rates of fascist tendencies in their population in all of Europe. In America where we have the hardest stance on drugs we obviously have the worst drug problem.
Discuss.

Quote:LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Reuters) -- The grandmother of a 15-year-old accident victim shocked the funeral for her grandson's friend when she recognized her own grandson in the open casket, authorities said Tuesday.
Stephanie Hylemon noticed it was Jeremy Hylemon, and not 16-year-old John Grubs Jr., who died in the July 31 car accident, Meade County Sheriff's Deputy William Sego said.
The body was due to be cremated after Saturday's service.
Grubs' family, who had misidentified the boy's body, rushed to a local hospital where Grubs, not Hylemon, lay unconscious in critical condition from injuries suffered in the crash.
Dental records were subsequently used to confirm the identity of the dead youth, a spokesman for the Jefferson County coroner's office said.
Wrong boy!

Where do you look for good product reviews?
I know cnet and zdnet for computer stuff, but what about other electronics?
Like, I'm looking for a tv for my living room. Anyone know where to find reviews on 32 and 36 inch tv's?

Ok I'm actually being serious about this so bear with me.
Most of us have been led to believe that Satan, or Lucifer or whatever you want to call him is the personification of evil. But if you actually read the Bible or the Koran or whatever you can interpret it another way.
God forgives rapists in some interpretations just because they believe in the light of Jesus Christ. But satan on the other hand punishes those who have done evil. Satan convinced Adam and Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge when God forbidded it. Now if we examine that God wanted to keep the first humans ignorant while Satan wanted to enlighten the human race. When God put humans above angels Satan rebelled because he saw this as an injustice. Now Satan can be seen as a fighter for equal rights. But doing this he defied the absolute dictatorship of God. And in a time of absolute monarchs someone like this could not be tolerated.
I say that Satan is unfairly characterized as evil but he has been a crusader for liberty and justice.
