| Is popup advertising fair to the consumer? |

I have been thinking about this for a while and wasn't sure whether to post in the tech forum or here.
Advertising is everywhere around us. Billboards, commercials, posters, fliers, and on the internet.
For the most part, advertising only raises our costs in the form of a couple of cent's more on a product to pay to advertise it.
However, on the internet, advertising has a direct cost relation to some consumers in the form of bandwidth usage. Some user's either pay for the amount of bandwidth that they use, thus every time a popup pops up they use more bandwidth. Or some users pay by the hour. Paying by the hour may not seem like it would have a direct cost relation to popup advertising but if the consumer runs into 4 popups in one day, taking 2-3 seconds each time to close them, then within about 1 year they will have had to pay for an extra hour. That doesn't seem like much, but 4 popups in 1 day is moderately low.
There is also the fact that more and more websites are using them, so the users will run into them on a more constant basis than ever before.
To me, forceing the consumer to pay to be advertised a product to is just not right. If the company advertising the product was footing the whole bill, then that would be different.
I do realize that there are programs out there that stop/kill popups, but the popup still uses bandwidth.
What's your take?

This blows.
I have an article due on one my favorite artists due at noon. I have a page written, but I need to write more and I can't bring myself to write because of a ton of stress and mental blocks.
I even got webcam pics of a certain camgirl playing with dildos to try and relax from my source and even THAT didn't help me.
I hate not being able to write.
So instead, I'm here. ugh awful

I havent been around much lately. I'm just checking in to see how my tards are doing.
Ladi, you are keeping the trailer at home nice and tidy as usual. I like the new money saving idea you have with drinking lots of meister brau and using your piss to degrease our floors.
Good to have Howie staying over at the trailer. He came up with this new idea of fingerpaint Ladi with greazy diarreah. He even added a twist to it by after Ladi is coated in our biproduct of filth we actually dress her up like a respectable citizen then send her food shopping for Spam.
I have nothing else to say besides HI KINDRED still waiting for a hello.

- As mentioned on WWE RAW, the nWo is no more as the decision has been made to disband the group. With Nash's injury, X-Pac has been given a "leave of absence", Shawn Michaels has no role and the Big Show is being pushed for a match against Booker T at Vengeance.
- For what it's worth, the Smackdown GM position is being rumored to be filled by Stephanie McMahon. Mick Foley was also being considered and he was offered the spot but it all depends or depended on his decision to join WWE full-time once again.
- Many names have been mentioned as being the General Manager of SmackDown, some say it could possibly be Dusty Rhodes, while others say it could be Stephanie McMahon, as reported. Which brings up a very interesting point. We previously reported that a radio station in Pennsylvania advertised Stephanie McMahon as appearing at the July 16 SmackDown taping in Wilkes Barre, which is tonight. Of course that is not yet confirmed, however, we will find out tonight.
Many sources have been reporting that Stephanie McMahon has been showing signs of frustration over the past few weeks. She has lost her temper when people outside of the writing team have questioned her direction, and made suggestions.
Perry Saturn is close to recovery from his ACL surgery. He should be back in the ring within a couple of weeks.
It is expected that Tazz will continue to be a full-time commentator, and his wrestling career is all but over.
Bradshaw has received praise for putting over Chris Nowinski in back-to-back TV matches. However, some people think it could damage his career.
Brian Gewirtz has some heat backstage about pushing Nash into his match last week without giving much notice. He also has heat for booking a ten-man tag match with wrestlers who had already wrestled earlier in the show.
There is a rumor currently circulating backstage that the WWE wants to cut their roster by approximately 10-20 wrestlers. If the rumor is true, both developmental wrestlers, and main-roster wrestlers could lose their jobs. Due to business being down, and many wrestlers not being utilized, this move would not be a surprise.
There is another rumor making the rounds that WWE management is upset with X-Pac. He has been very vocal recently about his distain at the current direction of the nWo

Well, this could be either bitterness or the truth...the dude has a right to be pissed, they actually re-recorded his bass work and the drum work from Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman when they "re-issued" the albums. Fuck Sharon!
Ozzy's faking it?
Is Ozzy trying to say he wrote all the lyrics when in reality, he was in such bad shape at the time, there's no way he could have done anything? He probably really does think he wrote them, he was too fucked up to know any different...
