This guy just fucking rules. But he is underrated because he makes all the women moist. Since he looks like a pretty boy (though have you noticed how nasty his skin is?) a lot of people in the mainstream just disregard him when discussing the best actors out there
You look at the movies he's been in and his role is always the best in the movie (Fight Club, True Romance, Seven, 12 Monkeys, River Runs Through It, to name a few). He's got some of the most memorable characters and memorable lines out there. Now whether I'm complimenting him on his great acting ability, or complimenting him or his ability to pick great scripts is up to debate. If it is just the great scripts, then it's amazing that he's able to eye them like that.
The other thing that you've got to respect him for is the fact that after his "big break" in that man-hating lesbian flick Thelma and Louise all the women wanted him. He could have easily capitalized and on cushy Freddie Prinze, Jr-type romantic comedy roles, but what does he do? Kalifornia and True Romance. Two roles where he seriously uglies himself up.
His whole career could have been those pansy movies but instead he's got the badass parts. Sure he's got some chick flicks, but that can just attributed to branching out and not wanting to be typecaste.
Finally his wife is a piece of ass, and he's not one of those self-important Hollywood types. Did you ever see the clip from Jackass where they staged a kidnapping in front of a movie theatre? Fucking priceless.
I love Brad Pitt. He is a God.

Layne Staley: Alice In Chains
Quote:"Critically, they'll never rate in the same pantheon as Nirvana, but they were a band that inspired hundreds, if not thousands, of other bands," Cross said.
Actually, I think AIC was BETTER than Nirvana. I listen to their albums a hell of lot more often than Nirvana.
This is a big loss. It's a shame he couldn't get his act together again so the band could reform. And to die at 34 is just a tragedy.

Just thinking about all the things I learned from TV that I never learned in school.
I think the best was watching MASH and learning how to do a tracheotomy (sp?) when Hawkeye had to talk Father Malchahy through the procedure.
Learned a lot of cool stuff from the first two seasons of MacGuyver, but forgot it all. And the networks won't show those in repeats for liability reasons. Hope they come out on DVD some day.
Edit- Oh yeah, I learned how to turn bamboo and a bubbling swamp into exploding methane spears and how to use a bubblegum wrapper to replace a fuse form MacGuyver. -End Edit
So, what have you learned from TV?

I think we should all go 24 hours without saying the word "bah". I know it will be tough, cuz its such a great word, but afterwards we will have the satisfaction of accomplishing something worthy as a group. So no bah's starting..............

since nobody else posted this i guess no one cares, but oh well....
i know i'm going out on a real limb predicting this, but i don't see anyone beating the lakers again, along as shaq and kobe are healthy.
so it comes down to the east. i'm a pacers fan and they had a big win yesterday, but as much as i want them to win, i want them to get rid of isiah thomas and its not going to happen if the pacers find a way to move on in the playoffs. just making the playoffs was probably enough to keep him around, so...
the rest of east can go any way.
all these teams just don't have that one player to get them to the next level.
76ers - have iverson, but thats it, and they're not playing like the same team that went to the finals last yr
celtics - the celtics have their big 2, but what else? rodney rogers? but if pierce gets hot there probably isn't a team in the east who can stop them
hornets - are really good, but i don't see them coming up big in a big series, especially with mashburn sick.
magic - what else besides macgrady?
pacers - isiah thomas blows
nets - who knows. aside from the pacers, they're team i'd like to see come out of the east. to bad they play each other in the first round
raptors - might find a way to get to 2nd round, but probably won't
pistons - stackhouse is good and wallace is a beast, but the rest of the team? if stackhouse can get hot it would be a good series if they played the celtics.
if a guy like paul pierce, iverson, or stackhouse can get hot and carry them through the playoffs that'll most likely be the difference.
just for the sake of picking someone i'll go with lakers vs pacers. :bouncer:
