I was listening to Star & Buckwild this morning on the way into work, and heard some things that probably should not make the air. And certainly would not have made the air on O&A or Stern, for that matter.
They had Luke from 2 Live Crew in the studio and Star said the following:
"We can say all that SHIT up in here"
"We got bitches suckin' cock..."
"piss on a bitch" (9x)
Now, I'm just saying that it's odd that they can get away with this on the negro station (jew owned, by the way), but O&A are reduced to saying "F" and "S", and can't even say "penis". Have the old fogeys at the FCC finally all died? Or, is this just a sign that shows with lower ratings aren't scrutinized as closely?

How weird would this have been.
Beatles Wanted to Do Rings Film in 1960s
Reuters
Mar 28 2002 8:27PM
WELLINGTON (Reuters) - John Lennon wanted to play the grasping, thieving creature Gollum in a 1960s Beatles version of the "Lord of the Rings," New Zealand movie director Peter Jackson told Wellington's Evening Post newspaper.
Jackson, whose own version of the first book in the fantasy trilogy, "The Fellowship of the Ring" won four Oscars this week, told the newspaper that the Beatles plan fell flat when author J.R.R. Tolkien rejected the plan.
Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, who was to play the hero Frodo in the movie, told Jackson about the plans at the Academy Awards in Hollywood, the Post reported.
"It was something John was driving and J.R.R. Tolkien still had the film rights at that stage but he didn't like the idea of the Beatles doing it. So he killed it," Jackson told the newspaper.
George Harrison was to play the wise wizard Gandalf who advises the hobbit Frodo in his quest to destroy the evil golden ring at the center of the epic tale of good versus evil, one of the most popular books of the 20th century.
Ringo Starr was to play Frodo's devoted sidekick Sam, while Lennon would take the part of the hobbit-like creature that tracks the heroes throughout the story, trying to get his hands on the powerful ring.
"There probably would've been some good songs coming off the album," Jackson said of the Beatles' plan.
Jackson is currently working on the second film of the trilogy for AOL Time Warner Inc's New Line Cinema.
"The Two Towers" is due out in December and the last film, "The Return of the King," will follow next year.

On ESPN the other night, they had a segment about the best Stanley Cup games since 1993. Number one was Game 7 of the Rangers/Canucks in 1994. I think the best game I ever saw was Game 7 of the Rangers/Devils series in 1994. What does everybody else think? MATTEAU! MATTEAU! MATTEAU!

<center>IF 6 WAS 9 - Jimi Hendrix
Yeah, sing a song blood.
If the sun refused to shine, I don't mind, I don't mind.
Yeah, if all the mountains fell in the sea let it be.
It ain't me. Well, alright.
Got my own world to live through and a and I ain't gonna copy you.
Now if a six turned out to be nine, I don't mind, I don't mind.
If all the hippies cut off all their hair, oh, I don't care.
Oh, I don't care. Dig.
'Cause I've got my own world to live through and a and I ain't gonna copy you.
(Spoken White collar conservative flashing down the street
pointing their plastic finger at me.
They're hoping soon my kind will drop and die but
I'm gonna wave my freak flag high. High, ow.
The Number Of The Beast - IRON MAIDEN
"Woe to you, Oh Earth and Sea, for the Devil sends the beast
with wrath, because he knows the time is short...
Let him who hath understanding reckon the number of the beast
for it is a human number, its number is Six hundred and sixty
six."
Revelations ch. xiii v. 18
I left alone my mind was blank
I needed time to get the memories from my mind
What did I see can I believe that what I saw
that night was real and not just fantasy
Just what I saw in my old dreams were they
reflections of my warped mind staring back at me
Cos in my dreams it's always there the evil face that twists my mind
and brings me to despair
The night was black was no use holding back
Cos I just had to see was someone watching me
In the mist dark figures move and twist
was all this for real or some kind of hell
666 the Number of the Beast
hell and fire was spawned to be released
Torches blazed and sacred chants were praised
as they start to cry hands held to the sky
In the night the fires burning bright
the ritual has begun Satan's work is done
666 the Number of the Beast
Sacrifice is going on tonight
This can't go on I must inform the law
Can this still be real or some crazy dream
but I feel drawn towards the evil chanting hordes
they seem to mesmerise me...can't avoid their eyes
666 the Number of the Beast
666 the one for you and me
I'm coming back I will return
And I'll possess your body and I'll make you burn
I have the fire I have the force
I have the power to make my evil take its course

I got my copy on tuesday, on sale at best buy for $11.99 that came along with a best of wrestlemania cd, and I can't stop listening to it. It is a very well put together cd. Some of my thoughts about the songs...I was kind of neutral about van dam's song after hearing it on tv. With all the cheering and announcing, it kind of gets drowned out, but with a clean version on this cd I have to say...It ROCKS!!!! Its the kind of song you have to put on your cd player, crank the volume to 10 and put the earphones on. Be careful though, you may want to start hitting things while listening to it. It's a damn good song.
The other song that caught my attention is "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace, Benoit's new theme song. It is right up there with Van dam's. It has a great beat and it also makes you want to go out and rip someone's head off, a must for a wrestling theme song. The beginning has this little chanting like mantra and from there it just picks up. The lyrics kick ass too, all in all its a good song.
Stone cold's song is good too. Its a shame he doesn't use it anymore. Drowning Pool's version of "the game" absolutely blows. It starts off good, then its like he's whispering the lyrics. The should have given motorhead a couple of bucks to record their version. The remixes, zombie's and manson's are ok. Typical remix stuff. Sevendust's version of jericho's theme is also a major disappointment. For a group that can rock like they can, they blew it big time with this. The lyrics and music kind of mesh together and it sounds like a cluster-fuck. Saliva's dudley boyz theme is good, but in a wrestling kind of way. The funniest thing on the cd is that Lita's theme song, rocks more than the Hardy's boyz song. Its almost as if they should have been switched, with lita getting the more effeminate song, but then again...
This cd is a must have for any wrestling fan and if you aren't and are just a fan of hard rock, it's a good buy too. The Benoit and Van Dam songs could translate onto mainstream radio I think. No one would know the difference.
