I'd make this deal in a second. I heard Mike and the Dog talking about it all afternoon but haven't seen anything on the web. If it happens to be true that they're considering this, I think the Mets should jump on it.

The best Buffalo wings - Debate.
Posted by: The Jays - 02-23-2004, 12:30 AM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (39)

Duff's, on Millersport Highway in Amherst, NY.

Bowl of 20 wings, bowl of fries, and a pitcher, 16 bucks.

Split it with a friend, it's 8 bucks each, and you get a bowl of 10 wings, swimming in a pool of hot sauce. Best wings ever, better than Anchor Bar.

Where's the best wings in NYC, or whatever other city you're in?

The McDonald's All American teams were announce this weekend, and no surprise, Sebastian Telfair of Lincoln HS, couisn of Stephon Marbury, was selected.

He had said that he was gonna sign with Louisville I believe, but now I guess he's thinking about declaring for the draft.

Any more info regarding Telfair?

 VMware

i installed VMWare so that i can play around with win2k and other linux operating systems without having to make other partitions and dual boot and all that crap, but i can't get the virtual operating system to recognize the internet connection. i read somewhere i might have to set up my own proxy connection to have it run through that, but i have no idea how to do that. anyone ever use VMware before?

 Nader is running again
Posted by: The Sleeper - 02-22-2004, 04:55 PM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (28)

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tm....ader_dc

I'd be inclined to vote for him based on these quotes alone:

Quote:"Washington is corporate-occupied territory, and the two parties are ferociously competing to see who is going to go to the White House and take orders from their corporate paymasters," Nader said on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Nader said claims that his candidacy would distract from efforts to beat Bush in November were a "contemptuous" attempt to restrict democracy and maintain what he called the "two-party duopoly."

"It is an offense to deny millions of people who might want to vote for our candidacy an opportunity to vote," he said, adding the "corporate government" practiced by both parties had led to rollbacks in labor, environmental and economic standards.

It's a shame that people who are not afraid to speak the truth about what's going on in Washington get no support from the majority.

Straight Plan For The Gay Man
Posted by: GonzoStyle - 02-22-2004, 12:17 PM - Forum: Entertainment Unlimited - Replies (1)

I haven't seen queer eye for the straight guy but its pretty obvious what the show is about.

Comedy Central is premiering a spin off this monday, only its the opposite. With straight guys tryin to make men out of queers.

The episode description for the show says

Quote:The Flab Four transform a fashion executive into a meatpacker.

The commercials seemed eh but theres gotta be some comedic value with a gay guy as a meat packer... not like its a stretch for a gay guy packin meat.

I hope they dont send a guy into a fudge packing plant when they get desperate for ratings.
