... to playing poker on the internet. i had never played poker, up until 4 weeks ago at a friends house. now i can't stop playing.
i lost all my money at the friends house so i decided to practice on the internet. i went to a site that let you play with fake money. that started to bore me, so the next thing you know i'm depositing 50 dollars into an online credit card account, so i can take that money and deposit into the poker sites account. my real credit card company won't let me use my funds to gamble, those bastards.
i have only played on their tournament tables. each of 10 players, pays $6 to play. 5 goes to the pot and $1 goes to the house. everyone gets 800 dollars in chips and play begins. the last three people win money, 25 for first, 15 for second and 10 for third. i have already won 2 tournaments and came in second 3 or 4 times. they also have 10, 30 and 100 dollar tables but i'm not too sure about risking that type of bread just yet. maybe soon.
does anyone else play?

Dangerous times are ahead of us. In the next few monthes, we will be dealing with a threat that will no doubt shape the world into a much different form that we have come to know over the past two years, the time period between the last shape change and the upcoming change. At this time, we do not know what the threat is, so at this time, we shall look at this awesome form of galatical power known as "earth-shaping".
Shaping the world would seem to be a very rare and incredible task, something that doesn't even occur in our lifetimes. But, upon closer examination of the 20th century, the world changed shape 39 times during that 100-year period. Some of the major changes include the rise and fall of Adolf Hitler, communism, the automobile, and the addition of Joe Piscipo to the SNL cast. Of the lesser changes, they include Armstrong walking on the moon, the desinated hitting rule, and The Fonz jumping over the shark on water skiis. All of them shaping the world into a form unseen before.
So, in this thread, I will post the 39 changes in shape of the world, and the events which caused this new shape.

So I was visiting my cousin in coney island on thursday to wish him a happy thanksgiving... well I really stopped by to get my birthday present.
Anyway I see this box on his kitchen table, I look inside and theres a bunch of groceries. There was a turkey, some eggs, bread and chocolates and such. I says "been shopping?"
He tells me that the church he works at was giving this stuff away to the people in the neighborhood, turkeys and everything for thanksgiving. The church goers would show up early and pick it up.
He then tells me that he wasnt keeping it cause a lot of the people who need it more than he did, didnt get nothing so he was gonna give it away to them.
Turns out the fuckin jews in the neighborhood who don't live near the church and obviously aren't members of the church, got wind of this give away and showed up to collect as well. They got there earlier than anyone and pretty much cleaned house. The people givin stuff out were volunteers and didnt know any better, till the people started showing up and spreading word that these people werent from the neighborhood plus they were jews.
By then it was too late, there was even a family that pulled up in a Benz and parked it down the block so no one would see.
Just one more on the scales of persecution. There's a reason persecution of the jews has lasted for thousands of years, no one holds a grudge that long unless theres a damn good reason.
