If anyone doesn't know, I am getting married in July 15th, 2007. Planning a wedding is hard work, though, we've been pretty good about getting all our ducks in a row. The place, caterer, photographer, and such have all been lined up for a while now. The only thing that has been trouble is finding the right band/DJ. I hate the LI kitschy wedding/bar mitzvah band and/or DJ. I'd rather have my testicles fried than subject myself to the Electric Slide and Chicken Dance. I cringe at the thought of a coiffed obnoxious MC trying to get granny on the dance floor, never mind that she's been dead for 3 years.

So, we can't figure out what we want. Luckily, my fiancee feels the same way on the music..but she wouldn't mind a DJ. We've stowed a few good bands mainly b/c they are too large and too expensive. My bright idea of a 20 piece Swing Band just won't fly...too many people for too little of a space. Plus $7000 is just too steep, plus we got to feed the fuckers.

I am curious to anyone else's experience or suggestions on the subject. We are fielding some new people on the band and DJ front. We were at an Expo recently, and completely horrified by both the bands and DJ there who oozed LI with their hair gel.

My boss has informed me that he has to leave for the day and his wife is gonna be around, cause her mom and dad are on vacation and she is preggers and due in the next 2 days or so. She had some small contractions this morning but nothing big yet.

So I am entrusted to drive her to long island to the hospital if anything happens and I get to take the Benz!!!! Cause her big gut won't fit in the two door stratus.

Since my birthday thread has been hijacked, I am starting a fresh thread for this awesomeness. So I was waiting yesterday for stupid chick to show up, cause she called me on friday to wish me a happy birthday and said she had a gift. She comes in yesterday and like nothing, she doesnt even ask me how my weekend was or nothing.

Then there is another girl who works here, now she's actually someone I can tolerate cause shes actually funny and interesting to talk to, she also wants to be a teacher but she has a clue, plus she's pretty cute to.

Anyway, I hadnt heard a peep from her but yesterday I caught her coming in as I was walking to my car and she asked me to wait cause she got me something, which was surprising cause I never expected it. I told her I wanted to get to the gym but i'd see her tomorrow, so she said she'd leave it on my desk, I figured it's something stupid anyway but its a nice gesture.

So I get in today and its on my desk, I open it up and this is probably the best gift I have gotten in a while, its nothing big but its the thought behind it.

Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from Kid Rock, her rep has confirmed to PEOPLE.

"Pamela filed for divorce last week," Anderson's rep, Tracy Nguyen tells PEOPLE. "It wasn't a happy Thanksgiving."

On Monday, Anderson posted the following message on her Web site:

Anderson, 39, and Rock, 35, both filed divorce petitions Monday, each citing irreconcilable differences, but they gave different dates of separation. Anderson's papers said they separated before Thanksgiving weekend, on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, while Rock – who filed under his real name, Robert Ritchie – said they separated on Sunday, Nov. 26. No reasons were given for the discrepancy.

Both ask that the court not get involved in awarding spousal support.

The couple held their first wedding ceremony on July 29 on a yacht in St. Tropez. In a note posted on her Web site the following day, Anderson described the nuptials as "The best most romantic wedding of all time."

They later made it legal on Aug. 3 at a Beverly Hills courthouse, and held a third, surprise wedding on Aug. 17 onstage at Nashville's Tootsie's Orchid Lounge.

Earlier this month, Anderson's rep confirmed that the actress had suffered a miscarriage while in Vancouver filming the movie Blonde and Blonder.

The marriage was Anderson's second; she was married to Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee from 1995 to 1998 and has two sons with him – Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 8. Rock has a 13-year-old son, Bob Jr., with former flame Kelley South Russell.

Anderson and Rock had dated and split up before: They got engaged for the first time back in April 2002 but split in 2003.
