  Classic albums and their art...
Posted by: Danked - 04-15-2003, 06:00 PM - Forum: Noise Pollution - Replies (177)

I've added a rotating image of album covers above the topics here in Noise Pollution. I have already received a few suggestions from people already for additional albums or art and added them to the rotation. I'm opening it up to the rest of the members for other suggestions on art that I should seek out.

I used to love flipping through my parent's record collection as a kid. Never listening, just admiring the covers of these albums that I would eventually come to love through listening.

LOTR-The Two Towers Extended DVD details - I can't wait to get these...
Posted by: Goatweed - 04-15-2003, 04:13 PM - Forum: Entertainment Unlimited - Replies (17)

from Lightsoutentertainment.com...

Quote:Peter Jackson has already finished editing the extended DVD for The Two Towers. In an exclusive interview with the Lord of the Rings Fan Club Movie Magazine, the director stated that the additional footage will total 43 minutes, bringing the running time of the extended cut to a whopping total of 222 minutes. As with the extended Fellowship set, much of the extra material will be character moments. Jackson promises more Gollum and and Treebeard, "We have a great scene - which I would have loved to put in the theatrical version - where he recites really bad poetry to the Hobbits, who are desperately trying not to fall asleep... There are a lot more surprises in that extra Fangorn material."

Jackson's effects company, WETA, is now hard at work completing 150 new effects shots for those extra scenes. The DVD is expected out this coming November.

222 minutes of hobbit/Gollum goodness. It'll probably be priced right, just like Fellowship was. Why can't more directors and movie studios do this?!?!

This appeared on my bathroom floor Saturday night. At first I thought it was a dead baby mouse, but now I'm leaning more towards chunk of flesh. There was this one part in the Joy Luck Club (the book) where the lady cut out a chunk of her arm to put in soup that they were going to feed to her dying mother, and my room mate IS chinese. :20:

I know its a pretty bad picture, but what do you think it is?
