i attempted to make a joke in the attention thread. unfortunatly it was in poor taste and i feel great shame about it. sean has worked very hard on the board and i had no right to belittle his efforts in an attempt to be funny. i am very very sorry and will live with this regret for a long time. thank you

After sharing our memories in the "where were you on 9/11" thread, I began thinking about 9/11/02. Has anyone thought about what they'll do that day? If you work in Manhattan will you go into work? Will you take a trip via plane? Will you participate in any memorials?
I thought it would be interesting to hear everyone's plans for the 1 year anniversary.

sometimes my life is good, a lot of the times im just not happy with where it is going or what is going on in it. i feel like my whole life is meant for one horrible, sad movie because the things i go through are so fucked up to be real. i mean my whole life isnt just a downward spiral but it feels that way sometimes.
if you take the situations in a soap opera, mutliply them by 500 and live them out thats what im going through right now. its seems no matter what happens, i wind up getting fucked over somehow. sometimes i try so hard to make other people happy that i dont think bout myself. when i finally start doing things for myself it makes everything worse.
im afraid to disappoint people because i dont want to lose what i have with them. i dont want to end up alone, which i feel is the case sometimes. all im looks for right now is for someone i can make happy and they appreciate it and actually care about me. theyll be there for me when i need it. im living in this fantasy world that a certain person actually cared about me but that didnt turn out to be the case. everything i thought was true, turned out to be some kind of a lie.
it seems that the people who make me the most happy are the ones who wind up hurting me the most in the end. thats why it gets harder and harder to trust people with my emotions, i dont need this hurt that i suffer every time i give myself to someone. i open up just a little and they think they can just grab my heart and do whatever they want with it.
i tried to make the situation bareable for the both of us, but it seems like that wont be happening. he wants it one way or the other, never a compromise. i know i shouldnt have gotten involved in this at all but you cant really help who you start to fall for. love is blind until you step back and look at the reality, but of course its too late to do anything. when you finally step back you find wyourself caught in a whirpool of hurt and you want to protect yourself from it. when you finally do something bout it, you wind messing everything up that you had. maybe its good that my situation got messed up.
but until i find someone to care for me, i am stuck with the hurt i have gotten from people before. and i wonder when its my turn to be happy, it seems like it will never happen. people tell me that my time will come, but until that happens i am left sad. i care so much for people, when will it be my turn to have someone care for me?

Hmmm both seemed like the perfect tag team, yet Arpi has proven to be the brains of the operation.
Who do you think is pinky to the others brain?

I been really looking forward to seeing this movie. Has anyone seen xXx yet? I tried downloading it but haven't been able to find it yet. I downloaded Austin Powers 3 though, glad I didn't see it in the theaters.

Quote:Hanks in Spielberg's Abraham Lincoln Biopic!?
Tuesday, July 30, 2002 11:38 CDT
We'll have to see if this one gets confirmed or not, as it's definitely a rumor for now. According to scooper 'dark_knight', a local TV program announced today that Tom Hanks will team-up with Steven Spielberg to do the life story of Abraham Lincoln.
Gladiator co-writer John Logan scripted the biopic of Lincoln for DreamWorks partner Steven Spielberg to direct. The project focuses on how the 16th U.S. president steered the country through the Civil War.
'Stax' also tells us that Tom Hanks is a descendant of Nancy Hanks, mother of Abe Lincoln!
Hanks is a great character actor but I think this maybe a role he can't pull off. I know speilberg thinks the world of him as an actor but hanks as lincoln? I can't even picture him pulling off the look. Naturally a Lincoln Bio done by Speilberg sounds like an awesome movie though.

I picked up the Guitar Port by Line6 yesterday, and I love this fucking thing. It has everything you could want in a real amplifier, plus about 100 more things.
It connects to your computer via USB and then you can connect it's output to your computer speakers or a stereo. You then plug your guitar into the front of this thing, load the software and you're ready to jam. Choose from about 10 different amp heads, and as many different speaker cabinets, and four different pedals (some pedals have more than one effect). You can emulate any sound you hear in popular music today with this thing. They even have downloadable "tones" on their website ($7.99/month). You can also download lessons.
Another great thing about their software is that you can play along with a cd/mp3/lesson. It allows you to select a certain part of a song and repeat it, which is great when you're trying to get that one fast lick down. Additionally, you can slow the song down to half-speed without distorting the pitch.
I was going to buy a new amp because my tube amp just isn't practical for my apartment. Well, after seeing this thing at Guitar Center, I said screw the amp. This thing is better than any amp, in many ways.
If you play guitar, I recommend you go out and buy this thing today. You won't be disappointed. Unless you have WindowsXP, then you'll have a bit of trouble installing the software, but it does work. Line6 has the latest revisions of the software and the driver on their site.

A certain ceo recently ended his relationship with an equine member of his initial venture.
ES claims to own a controlling interest in CDIH.
Arpi and Mayfag are on the outs. Seems maynard's love of yellow discipline proved to be too much for arpi.
This just in - Sean is still a mean son of a bitch.
NEWS FLASH - K1d's a prick.
After a long hiatus, tenbats posting still sucks.
Rumor has it that spitfire has a big butt.
