| O&A Board Regular Registered: Nov. 00 | I was able to talk to my brother by cell phone just after the south tower collapsed. I can't call out, but I have received two calls by cell phone only. I heard on 1010 that MOST of the people in the South Tower were evacuated BEFORE the second plane hit it. 1010 talked to people evacuated from the 92nd floor of the South Tower. A LOT of people were taken out of the North Tower, but people were jumping out the windows of the North Tower only minutes before the building collapsed. We are too far away to see people, but we did see both collses. I just got news that my cousin who works about 10 blocks north was right under the building when the first plane hit.
