Dream, I made her "Steamed Hams" from a recipe I learned in Upstate NY...

Actually, I made her sauteeed chicken cutlets, garlic mashed potatoes, and ceaser salad.

I'm going over her place tonight for paybacks so I hope she cooks something good...

I got offered a whopping extra 800 dollars on top of my yearly bump-up to stay at my job next year...I had trouble not laughing out loud.

I can't wait to quit this fucking place in June...

I can see my Jeep from my office and I just got a parking ticket! I've been parking illegally for a month, watched security guards walk right by to ticket someone else and now they finally get wise...ponderous, effin ponderous.

Spit gets a raise (Congrats) at her job for slacking on, among other things, opieanthony.com.
She has a "Slacking" thread in which she has been slacking and not opening up in the morning. ;)

Perhaps she should become a Mod...wouldn't that be ironic?

( j/k) :)

Yes it is the Northern Lights, at this latitude, completely isolated in my kitchen.

Anyone going to see Norton in Cliffwood tonight?

Hello people.

The one program I have a computer at work for is
not working. And I'm afraid to let the IT guy
touch it for what he might find from the message
board. Oh what a conundrum.

It's not really Irony that today is Thursday Butt,
it's more relative. What if the people who
started recording time decided to slack for a few
days, today could have actually been Monday.
Think about that for a while.

Or not Whatever

So how long to these threads go on before you decide to start a new one?

And, what's the longest anyone remembers one going for ?

Nice "Grail" referance ladi,

slacking thread usually gets to 1,000 before Spit starts the new one.

Can't remeber the longest thread..."Day in the life" perhaps? ... Slackers, comment?

Ground Control and the original "Using the Board While Working" thread went head-to-head...can't remember how many posts they were up to...GC was somewhere around 3 or 4000.

Looks like this chat needs a topic.

How about "What's your favorite restaraunt in Manhattan?"

I always have a great time at Heartland Brewery.

Damn, I hate when I have to do what I said I would when I got the job (read: not goof off)

I usually don't eat in Manhattan too regularly, so no one place really sticks out in my mind. I do frequent this great little Italian place in Queens called Rizzo's though.

John's Pizza in the Village. I think it's on Bleeker. It's got thin crust pizza in a coal oven and it's the bomb. There's like a line outside to get in, so you know it's good. My buddies and I go there and get a few pies and some pitchers of beer (yes, I said pitchers in Manhattan) and it kicks ass.

There's this new place on Riverside Park that I hear is really great for sandwiches and crap. A waitress there is a real bitch, though, I hear...
