  I think i saw a nazi

I was outside the food store finishing my cigarette, and this guy drove by in a really kick-ass 1920's ish Roadster. (Open top, two seater, long front, crome, independent lights... I don't know what kind)

But, anyway, he drives thru the parking lot with his hand in the air doing a Nazi type salute... I was a little taken aback. He looked like he was dressed some kind of homeless dude too. Freakin psycho.

Will there be another attack? Or is everyone just thinking the worst? If they start doing suicide bombings here should we finally make every country responsible a crater!!?

  Ultimate bar
Posted by: Arthur Dent - 05-20-2002, 03:44 PM - Forum: The Pit - Replies (21)

Just thinking about the best bars I've been to. The ones I've had the most fun in.

What to you makes for the best bar? The one you would go to every weekend with your friends or significant other?

I've had some really good times in "roadhouse" type bars with a stage for the band, a big bar, and lots of people.

Or, how about:

Let's design the bar that Sean's going to buy and we're all going to hang out at so he can quit the job he hates and hire CRX and Spit to be waitresses at.

Hillbillies and the stupid things they do.

(Tucson, Arizona-AP) -- A fellow enthusiast of radio-controlled airplanes calls it "the freakiest of freak accidents."

A 60-year-old Arizona man was killed when his radio-controlled plane crashed into his chest.

The president of the Southern Arizona Modelers says it appears Roger Wallace lost sight of his six-pound airplane in the sunlight.

The plane club's president says Wallace used to be a drag racer but he switched to operating airplanes because he thought it was safer.

  4 wheel drive vacation
Posted by: Arthur Dent - 05-20-2002, 11:35 AM - Forum: The Faggy Artistic Forum - Replies (26)

There's a show on BBC about extreme survival where this huy shows different types of survival techniques in different environments. This week, he explained how to safely take an SUV and go off roading in the Australian Outback and then went to Arizona to follow the trails the Apache used when fighting US cavalry.

I really like the idea of going to southern Arizona with a bunch of friends and some well equipped SUV's for a week and exploring all that stuff and seeing all the real places.

Why is this here? Because I figure 4 wheeling is a red neck sport. Anybody ever do this? Go off-roading anywhere?

  Best children's movies
Posted by: Arthur Dent - 05-20-2002, 10:21 AM - Forum: Entertainment Unlimited - Replies (21)

Don't think we need a top 20 list for this one.

What are your favorite kid's movies of all time. The ones you liked as a kid, the ones you watch with your kids, or the ones you just want to watch?

I used to really like The Never Ending Story because I liked the idea of how the kid was reading a book and what was happening in the book became more and more real. Plus, first time I saw it, I was the same age as the kid in the movie.

And The Dark Crystal is Jim Henson's fantasy masterpiece. I still love that film.
