Ya know that if you don't sleep for like 72 hours, you get a natural high? I read an article about it somewhere. Anyone ever try that? I think I might during Spring Break.

OK, the Grammys just flat out suck. Now what if we could actually pick who deserved to win. I know, i know, its about the art, its not about winners or losers. Well whose work stood out in your mind in the following categories in 2002?
Album Of The Year - Amnesiac, Radiohead - wasn't a disappointment to me, just another great effort from a group continuing to push sonic boundaries, honorable mention Weezer - "Weezer aka the green album" and Nas - Stillmatic
Song Of The Year : Toxicity - System Of A Down, maybe cause its the freshest song that I dug this past year but it seems to represent some of 9/11 to me and has the right combination of melody and rage for me, honorable mention One Mic- Nas
Best New Artist : Coldplay, when im in the mood for some soothing 'pussy' music as some might call it, this is the shit i love to chill to, these blokes touch me in that special place. honorable mention Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Best Alternative Album : Tool - Lateralus, not their best but still way out of the league of much of what was put out this past year. honorable mention At The Drive In - Relationship On Command
Best Rap Album : Nas - Stillmatic, Jay-Z started a beef he couldnt possibly finish, you dont come to a gunfight with a spork. Didnt seem like he could ever top Illmatic but he just did. honorable mention Outkast - Stankonia
Feel free to add and create your own categories.

this is not me being whiney or feeling sorry for myself. i just realize that i am not a liked poster. this does not upset me.
i did not realize i was so universally hated. I thought we were all having fun. i was obviously wrong. i guess my idea of fun is different from the boards. i apologize for impinging in your good time and will be on my way. good luck to you all.

I put this fucker in here to shut him the hell up. I know everyone was getting tired of his bragging about his fucking girlfriend, and his trip to spring training. So I threw him in here to do everyone a favor. Then I get this...
arpikarhu (4:29:34 PM): dude
jshoejr (4:29:38 PM): yes?
arpikarhu (4:29:45 PM): dude
jshoejr (4:29:48 PM): yes?
arpikarhu (4:30:06 PM): ok, you have had your fun
jshoejr (4:30:13 PM): no i haven't
arpikarhu (4:30:21 PM): this is soooooooooooooo dull
jshoejr (4:30:25 PM): i didn't do anything
arpikarhu (4:30:33 PM): whatever
arpikarhu (4:33:02 PM): i'm dying here
So, now I ask you, should we let him out yet?

My band is having a hell of a time agreeing on a name. Some gems such as "Stifler's Mom" have been nixed. We need your help. Its also a pretty good thread for silly band names. If we decide to use your name i'll give you something cool. Thanks for the help, i'm ready to rip my hair out at this point over this.
EDIT: per maynard's advice, i thought i'd tell you what kind of music we play. we cover ozzy, led zep, incubus, rhcp, aerosmith, janes addiction, pretty much a wide variety of rock and metal from the 70's and current metal and rock. Theres a sample of our tracks here.
