What were some of your favorite TV shows in the 80's? We didn't get cable till like 1995, so it was syndicated networks till then. I was reading a book on older TV shows and ran past some old names which I remembered.
I used to love Diffrent Strokes, come on Gary Coleman was a comedic genius!!!
I always loved Threes Company and for some reason I remember watching every season of growing pains. Mr. Belvadere was another show we'd watch. I always hated silver spoons and benson though.
Saturday morning cartoons though, when they had actualy cartoons on saturday mornings. I used to watch the Ghostbusters every week religiously, not "the real" Ghostbusters that spinoff with the gorilla though. I remember garfield and friends being a favorite as well and the thundercats, GI Joe on WPIX.

It is now official that Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall have officially signed on with the World Wrestling Federation.
Vince McMahon held a meeting today and told producers that while he appreciated their input, he was bringing the big 3 into the WWF, and the morale after the anonuncement was said to be very low, especially since many key people are agianst the move. Many considered it a slap in the face but the front office staff realized that Vince McMahon is the boss and it's his decision.
At this time specific details regarding contracts and plans about debut angles and dates are unknown, but no doubt more information will follow.

- Dean Malenko started back up with the main WWF roster on January 3, working behind the scenes as an agent/coach. Malenko basically got Ricky Santana's job, which is why the WWF is now looking for a new position for Santana.
- Chris Benoit is targetting a late February return and is now able to do full body workouts. Benoit has trimmed down to 220lbs and has lower all around body fat from the last time we saw him on TV. Despite being ahead of schedule, Benoit has not yet started running the ropes or bumping.
- Crash Holly will be opening a wrestling school in Salisbury, North Carolina in the near future even though he lives in Northern California.
- Jim Ross recently spoke to the Canadian website Slam! wrestling about a variety of topics including the impending roster split, the alleged signings of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash and other topics. Here are the major points from the interview:
He does not know when the roster split will happen but said that it "absolutely" will happen sooner or later.
Ross speculated that the split could happen before next month's No Way Out PPV or shortly before Wrestlemania X-8.
On Chris Jericho: "He works his ass off, he's a top hand, he's reliable, he's professional, there's absolutely nothing to be unhappy about with Chris Jericho as our champion."
On Triple H: "He's a guy that trains like a warrior in the gym. He sticks to a rigid diet. He's probably as dedicated a trainer as far as hitting that gym and watching what he eats, as anybody I've ever been around. Even when he was on crunches, his diet was such a huge diet. He stayed right with it. I admire that."
On Ric Flair: "I know we're very thankful that we got him. He deserves to be seen with a smile on his face because he certainly paid his dues and left his mark on the business," continued Ross. "He's arguably the greatest in-ring performer that I personally saw. He deserves good things and good experiences and I hope we're able to facilitate that for him. He has been a huge positive for us behind the cameras."
On Hall & Nash: "We have a strong interest in them coming back to the company, as do they. There has been ongoing discussions about them returning but at this point and time we do not have a time set for them to come in. Bottom line is there's ongoing discussions, there's no bona fide time line to bring them back and there's no guarantee."

We had the last band you saw, but who was the best?
Well, I can say that the Clutch show I just went to was right up there. The Melvins was also pretty damn good this past spring.
My fav show though, is probably one I went to a few years back. It was the opening night of CMJ music festival in NY. It had a ton of bands on it. Aphex Twin, Daft Punk, Sneaker Pimps, Death In Vegas, Fluke, and a few DJ's spinning in between the sets.
The show was like 6 hours long and there were a ton of people there. Maralyn Manson and Billy Corgan even showed up to watch a few of the bands.
Great fuckin show.

Quote:RAW preview for Jan. 14, 2002
RAW explodes LIVE tonight from the American Airlines Center in Dallas at 9/8 CT on TNN!
With only six days until Sunday's monumental Royal Rumble Pay-Per-View, you had better believe that emotions will be running at a feverish high tonight in Dallas!
Since being busted open by Mr. McMahon, what will Federation co-owner Ric Flair have up his sleeve before his match-up with McMahon this Sunday? Also, after The Rock pinned him this past Thursday on SmackDown!, you know that Chris Jericho was plotting revenge on the Great One all weekend. Will he hatch his scheme tonight? And finally, we already know ten participants in this year's Royal Rumble match, including Triple H, Stone Cold, Kurt Angle, Undertaker, Kane and Big Show. Will anyone else throw their hat in the ring tonight?
Also, as announced on HEAT last night, Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle will battle the Big Red Machine, Kane, tonight on RAW!
Watch it all unfold tonight LIVE in Dallas at 9/8 CT only on TNN!
well, they usualy put on a good show right before the PPV so tonight should be intresting.
It's a shame that we won't see any big names return because they are still riding the HHH express at this point. Hopefuly, he asks for a divorce tonight.

| N.f.l. divisional playoffs. - Time to win a fuckin cookie |

Make your picks to win a cookie for this weeks playoff games!
Quote:Philadelphia Eagles @ Chicago Bears
Two defensive minded team square off in what very well can be the last game played at Soilder Field. If McNabb is not contained, the eagles will sore straight to the title game. Be weary though. The Bears have a knack for getting the job done at home this year, winning two games in OT with defense.
My Pick: Bears
Quote:Oakland Raiders @ New England Patriots
Oakland is traveling to the cold, dreay state of Mass. for this one. They have to be kicking themselves in the ass for this would have been in Oakland if they one of their last three games. The Pats truely do not impress me in the least. I think Jerry Rice is the difference here.
My Pick: Raiders
Quote:Green Bay Packers @ St.Louis Rams
***game of the week***
Brett Farve and co. take on the greatest show on earth. I love farve, but, this is a tough pill to swallow. What kind of defensive plan do you come up with to stop The MVP in Kurt Warner and last year's and runner up MVP this year, Marshall Faulk? I think with Farve's arm alone, it becomes intresting, but, that does not equate to a win.
My Pick: Rams
Quote:Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburg Steelers
This game truely has ugly written all over it. The Ravens proved to be in playoff form with thier drubbing of the Phins. Defensively, they are ready, but Grbac is still a question mark even after a great game. Kordell Stewart on the other hand, had a MVP caliber season and seems ready to go. The return of the bus makes them a very dangerous team.
My Pick: Ravens

Do You think I'm A Whore?
kittie
The knife is on the table
I put myself to sleep
All I know is all I know
Remember, what you sow is what you reap
How could I f*cking believe you?
This is too much for me
The little sheltered girl
Is what I'll always be
Self-loathing, inconsiderate
Too scared of what I'll be
I look into the mirror
The whore is all I see
Like you
Like me
Diminished, self-imploding
I'll never see
Like you
Like me
I never want
To be like me
Do you think I'm a whore?
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
Why can't I f*cking believe you?
This is too much for me
The little sheltered girl
Is what I'll always f*cking be
Self-loathing, inconsiderate
Too scared of what I'll be
I look into the mirror
The whore is all I see
Like you
Like me
I'll never change
I'm stubborn you see
Like you
Warned me
Lonely
For eternity
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
I'm a whore
