and I have a flyer from the republican state committee saying...They enter our country illegally and the Democrats want to reward them with amnesty and Social Security. and there is a lovely picture of a wetback running through a giant hole in a barb-wire fence. Turn it over and I'm greeted with "If the Democrats take control of Congress, 12 MILLION illegal immigrants will get AMNESTY and SOCIAL SECURITY benefits. Along with a lovely picture of 4 wetbacks climbing over metal fence that looks like something out of a marine training base. Do I take this flier at face value and believe it, or do I dismiss it totally??

Rush has moved up to crack

This guy just doesn't learn, ever.

Quote:Controversial radio host Rush Limbaugh has slammed actor Michael J. Fox for "acting" his way through a new campaign ad for his favorite politician. The Parkinson's Disease sufferer is seen frantically shaking as he urges voters to consider Missouri Democratic Senate candidate Claire McCaskill in the TV spot. McCaskill shares Fox's hopes for a cure for Parkinson's Disease, and is a strong advocate of embryonic stem cell research. But right-wing radio pundit Limbaugh is far from convinced the Back To The Future star was being honest in the tough-to-watch TV ad, accusing him of faking his condition. He says, "Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting... He's exaggerating the effects of the disease. This is the only time I have ever seen Michael J. Fox portray any of the symptoms of the disease he has. This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox." In his radio rant, which aired on Monday, Limbaugh continued "I will bigly (sic), hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J. Fox if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances. Michael J. Fox is using his illness as a way to mislead voters into thinking that their vote for a single United States senator has a direct impact on stem cell research in Missouri. It doesn't, and it won't."

I like the show. American Psycho meets CSI. Michael C. Hall is pretty darn good at being both a creep and lovable. I want more killing though, this case is taking him away from his hobby of slicing up bad boys and girls.

so next month I'll be a dad for 2 years

and it's pretty amazing to see not just how much my son has changed in 2 short years, but also how much me & my wife have changed. There's been a bunch of times where I realized I was saying or doing shit that my parents did to me, and it kinda creeped me out. I also remember bringing him home on Thanksgiving and wondering just what the fuck I was supposed to do with & for him, now it's all second nature and I can't imagine him NOT being around. He's like my pal, always there with a smile and always willing to play.

I know this is still the beginning & there's bunch of shit yet to come, but I think we've been doing just fine as parents so far. Good times indeed.
