i did a 4 team 6 point teaser, which for those not in the know, means you can take 6 more points off each of the lines in return for less of a payout. i bet $25 to win $75

so the lines were:

louisville -11.5
penn st. -12
michigan st. -1.5
miami -11.5

louisville was up 8 with 1:30 left, syracuse had no timeouts, louisville couldve easily kneeled on the ball, but they ran it in for a TD to cover! it's a miracle!

penn st. was up 7, illinois tries an onside kick with a minute left, penn st. recovers and runs it in for a TD to cover! a second straight miracle!

michigan st. was down 38-3 in the 2nd half, and come back to win 41-38!! holy shit! i've never had such dumb luck in my entire life.

at this point miami is up 20-2 on winless duke, and i'm thinking i just pulled off a ridiculous miracle win. duke somehow drives down the field and makes it 20-9. now i'm down half a point. then they score another TD to make it 20-15, but miss the 2 pt conversion. i'm down but not out, considering my luck today. duke is now driving down the field for the win and is on the miami 6 with 3 seconds left. at this point i pretty much concede the bet and am hoping duke just beats miami outright.

BUT

miami intercepts the ball, and the nig is now running down the field to score a TD. this would put me up 12 pending the extra point!!

My co-worker was putting away client files and I was on a phone call but could hear her whispering something. So I get off the phone and take a closer listen and she's singing the alphabet, to figure out which letter goes where. This is someone who is going to be a teacher.

So the convo went:
