Sorry man, but the master has spoken.
Toby has decided that you need to reflect on the way you have insulted his all knowing self and apologize for hurting the Lord Thy Toby's feelings.

I just spoke with my cat, you can call him Sir Toby, and he has decided that he is going to take over the world. His first mission is that he plans on taking over my account on CDIH and turning the forums into Kitty Porn. He has decided to take Maynard on as a mod as well since they both enjoy licking themselves and Maynard tounged Toby's ass once and it was the best moment of his life. He would like everyone to deliver a three pack of Starkist Tuna and you will be allowed to post. He also request that to post here, you must sleep at least 14 hours a day. Hold on a sec, the master calls.....
What?
Ok, I will tell them.
He also requires that the woman here dress up as Furries and stroke his back while you scratch yourselves. He is a hard person to please. Toby will be posting under this account until I can find a way to regain control of my house.
Sorry people.
be very wary.

I remember the Challenger explosion
...When Dominoes used to guarantee that if it took more than 30 minutes to deliver your food, it was free
...black and white televisions
...when NBC, CBS, and ABC were the only networks
...That "Prevue" was the precursor to modern cable. It sucked, and we had it.
...when bacon and eggs was part of a healthy breakfast
...When remote controls used to have cords
..."Remote Control"
...when NO ONE owned a computer
...writing letters
...when the press was reporting the fact that their were people who could host AIDS but not actually ever get sick with the virus
...Thinking that Emelio Estevez was probably the coolest person ever
...when the phones in my house weren't touch-tone
...when having more than one phone was a big deal
...when I used to write creative stories in grade school about bringing in weapons and killing all my classmates and teachers and I was called into read the story to other classes because everyone thought it was so funny
...when being a "businessman" meant you wore a suit and tie to work.
...programming with "Logo"
...Datsun cars
...buying records not because it was hip, but beccause it was the only option
...getting our first microwave and VCR
...betamax and Laserdisks
...when everyone was afraid that the Killer Bees wre going to make their way through Texas and kill thousands of people in the country.
...The Atari 2600
...Watching the '86 series and hating Bob Stanley and Calvin Schiraldi exponentially more than Bill Buckner
...when you weren't cool unless your sunglasses were two-way mirrors
...when everyone I knew had two parents who lived with them.
what are some of the things that you look back on and realize just how long you've been on this planet

So what the hell did you do? Got any good stories?
I was, and still am Anti-Prom. For me, I don't really care what you do. Go for it, if that's what you're into. I didn't go to my prom, instead, my date and I just went to party with all our friends after the prom for the weekend.
We went to Seaside Heights, NJ (what a shithole). I think there were 6 in our group, and we rented an apartment instead of a hotel room so it was a little nicer. We went down the day after prom, and just partied our asses off for 3 days. Did tons of drinking and tons of drugs. Had a really great LSD drip somewhere in there. The nice thing about having an apartment, was that it wasn't right on the beach. Instead, our other friends all rented like a whole floor of this shitbox motel right on the boardwalk, so everyone partied there. There were probably 50 or 60 seniors from our HS there, not to mention the countless other people that were down there for their prom too. So while we shitted up their rooms (I think one of the rooms had close to 1" of alcohol on the floor filling one of the rooms, we would go and crash at our nice clean apartment at the end of the night. We win!!11!

Maybe it's because I just saw Clerks.... No, I am not going to discuss about whether or not a storm trooper could install a toilet and about the poor independant contractors on the (third?) Death Star.. But this thought popped up. Feel free to bring up other shows as the pot hits.
Someone mentioned Time Trax. It's a show about a white guy (Darian Lambert?) who comes back from time to capture other time travelers who have escaped from prison in the future. The show hits on a couple of interesting topics: new martial arts, man can run quicker (still evolves), etc... And this one: in the future, the Hispanics are the majority in America. This time cop talks about his struggle growing up as a minority and how everyone called him a blanco, yet (and this is my problem) whenever they show the police station in the future, everyone is white (WASPy white) and speaks English. The majority of the criminals and the mastermind are white. Is the show saying that in the future that only whities are working, have the intelligence to commit high level crimes, and are still in power?
Just my thought.
Now back to the innocents killed in Return of the Jedi.
