Kingdom hearts - Squaresoft and disney team up.

Kingdom Hearts is a new PS2 game from squaresoft and Disney. I am playing it now and it's pretty cool. It looks alot like FFVII. Big heads and spikey hair. And yes there are FF charactes in the game like Wakka and Tidus and i think a few others. There are alos lots and lots of disney characters too. It's a RPG if you didn't already know. I wonder if people are gonna go for the combo. Are disney characters gonna turn people away from it? I'm only about an hour in and the story seems kinda slow so far. And the battles aren;t turn based. You have the freedom to attack at any time.

Since the moment of its formation, I have been a loyal subject of this kingdom, serving Queen Amy and King Becky's every whim. But now, the King is gone, and a new king was chosen. Many of the possible kings I would gladdly have bowed to, but the one chosen was a stoner. I will not sit and serve a Damn dirty hippy, so now I must regretably renounce my oaths of fealty and begin a revolution against the crown I once served. As long as there is life in these bones, blood in these veins, alone or with others, I will fight tooth and nail until this usurping King is taken from his throne and a new constitution is written to stop further abuses of royal power.

Proof positive - The cops in my town are pretty cool...

even if I did get pulled over on the way home from work.

Here's the gist...

Driving down rte. 9, I'm following a bus at about a car length away, I turn into the turn lane and what do I see?

A cop with someone pulled over, IN THE FUCKING TURN LANE ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY!!!

So, I swerved back into the right lane, to go around. The cop is standing there and motions for me to pull over, which I promptly do.

He comes up and says, that wasn't a smart move back there.

To which I reply, "I couldn't see from behind the bus..."

He says, "exactly..."

At this point, I bit my tongue and didn't say "nice place to make a traffic stop, Asshole." And instead, I said, "I'm not going to argue with you dude, I know what I did."

He takes my papers and makes me sit there for the pre-requisite five minutes before he comes back. Presumably running my license for tickets and warrants. Then he give my credentials back and says, "here's your stuff back, slow it down".

So in conclusion, I was wrong, he was wrong, but at least he didn't write me a ticket. OBPD still #1 coolest police in Middlesex County. :thumbs-up:

Coach attacked by fans - Most bizarre moment during a game?
Posted by: Keyser Soze - 09-20-2002, 03:14 PM - Forum: SportsCenter - Replies (5)

I'm sure by now you've heard about the father and son who jumped on the field at last night's Royals/White Sox game in Chicago and attacked the Royal's first base coach Tom Gamboa who was then rescued by both benches clearing to remove these white trash losers. I think I even spotted several players getting in some licks on these morons as they were pulling them off Gamboa.

Was this the most bizarre on field incident in any game? Can you recall anything stranger???

Here's another that comes to mind...

Dock Ellis walked eight batters but no-hit the Padres on June 12, 1970. He later said he had dropped acid before the game.

Got into work this morning and saw a huge line of young people (mostly women) lined up around the block.

Turns out it's the audition for Hairspray being held in the little theater on the corner.

Just gotta wonder if VG is in that line somewhere. So many tall blondes, it'd be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Too bad I'm stuck here in the office with all those beautiful woman right outside.
