One year. One full year from that tragic date. What is in store for us not only as Americans, but human beings? What are your thoughts and opinions.
Personally, being a couple of states away I was not directly affected the moment the planes hit the towers. I did feel the shock/horror of it all though. I was glued to the TV set and the radio trying to find out any information that I could possibly find about what was going on. My gut wrenched with fear about all those civilians and who would be targeted next.
I can only imagine what it must have been like for those of you who live in New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. or were directly affected by those events.
Looking forward, as has been talked about here many a time, I do forsee us being attacked again. However, I do also feel that we will be more prepared this time around. I think we will get Bin Laden, and I think we will take down Hussein with him. I also think we will rise above all of this and become an even stronger nation yet.
So, again I ask, what were your thoughts/actions on that day 1 year ago? What are your thought now? What is your outlook to the future for this country?

So I can steal them and profit greatly
Attatchments to add on to the Braun electric toothbrushes: (like nosehair trimmer, nail filer, etc) which are a lot cheaper and more functional than buying whole new things.
A plastic device that slips in iced coffee, mixed drinks, lemonade, etc, that will stir and mix (via multiple straws that syphons the stuff on the bottom up to the top) at the push of a button (like pushing down the soap handle brings the liquid up)
A little silk pouch that women can slip over the side of their underwear that is very thin and can't be seen under their clothes. It will hold some money, and a few IDs. Wear it to clubs, so they don't need to lug a purse around when they are dancing, but will have a few essentials but isn't obtrusive.
A network where home owners can contact a central agency to get all of their home service needs (plumbing, electricians, landscaping, painters, carpentry, etc). Benefits to customers: competitive pricing, ability to research prior customer comments on quality, and single point of contact.

ok, so i broke up with my girlfriend (no names were posted in order to protect the innocent), but we still live together. this has caused a few problems as you might have imagined. i want to move out and get my own place; she, however, would perfer to have the two of us move into a two bedroom apartment. she says we can live together till she finds a new roommate, then i get the boot and have to find yet a new place to live. according to her this is the only she can afford to move out. well what about me, i have a new girl and the fact that i live with my ex has caused quite a few problems. i have explained to the new G/F that i want to move out so that i can get on with my life, yet the ex is laying the huge guilt trip on me. i still care for my ex, she is still my best friend even though i may not show it so much anymore. so i guess after all this rambling my question is, do i move out and get on with my life, or do i fuck myself over and find a new apartment with her so that she can be financially stable
this is my first topic, lay off the spelling and grammer, i'm not in the mood

I just bought a new digital camera
Fujifilm Finepix 2800 Zoom
I like it, its a little bulkier than the average digicam but it takes really sharp and color rich pics and has a 6x optical zoom. It even takes video and doubles as a webcam. I was wondering if anyone knows of a better one in the $450 price range or less, since I have about 10 days left before I can return it.
I'm also in the market for a digital videocamera. I've borrowed a Sony digital videocamera quite a bit from an ex who i've been trying to distance myself from so now i'm gonna need my own. I really like the Sony but i'd like to find out what the rest of you have found to be a good digital videocamera in the $1000 range.
I've got a Mavica FD-91 to sell now that i'm getting a new camera if anyones interested in buying mine, AIM me.

Syxx-Pac, formerly known as X-Pac in the WWE, will be making his first indy appearance on September 21st for 3PW at the Viking Hall (formerly The ECW Arena) on a loaded show. Also appearing on the card will be Abdullah the Butcher as he renews his feud with Kevin Sullivan, the return of Sabu as he goes after the 3PW title, and a strip off with Missy Hiatt, Jasmin St. Claire, and Kendra Jade. Syxx-Pac has also agreed to wrestle for 3PW on October 19th at a show that will also feature Jerry "the King" Lawler.
Word has it that Jerry Lawler had cosmetic surgery prior to last night's RAW. According to some of the wrestlers, he had his chin, jaw and eyes done. His eyes were said to be black because of the surgery. He reportedly had a lot of makeup applied to his face to cover it up, but it didn't seem to have looked right. This would explain why he was using the binoculars every time he was shown on camera. Few people said his face appeared to be swollen as well.
There was much talk backstage about the effect Monday Night Football would have on RAW's rating. In part, the "Hot Lesbian Action" angle was done to combat ABC's season debut of MNF. No word on the RAW rating yet; we'll probably have it up later today. However, MNF did score a 16.1 in the overnight broadcast ratings, with a 23 share. Which is a big number one it's own, but if you consider the fact that this number was up 29% from the 12.5 rating the debut show did last year, it is not a good sign for this week's RAW rating.
Looney Lane, the brunette from last night's "HLA" angle, suffered a rib injury after taking that stiff kick from one of the Island Boys. No word on exactly what the injury was or the degree of it, but she was said to be hurting backstage after the segment.
Shawn Michaels has no current plans to return to the ring or WWE Raw programming.

WWE is NOT in serious discussions with Scott Steiner and in fact, no talks have taken place in some time. There are also no plans to have discussions any time soon.
- There are also no meetings scheduled with Bill Goldberg, although the interest is there.
- The Rock is not expected to wrestle for WWE until next year due to his movie committments. However, Rock should be back in storylines in preparations for Wrestlemania.
- There are no plans to bring Stone Cold Steve Austin back right now.
- Confidential will soon do a piece on OVW, the developmental program and their new arena.
- Undertaker hyper-extended his elbow and is working with a cast but will not miss any time.
- Sean O'Haire re-aggravated a groin injury which MRI results showed to be a tear. O'Haire will be out of action for about six weeks but will not need surgery.
- Mark Henry suffered a slight sprain of his ankle but will not miss any time.
- Chris Nowinski is having some problems with his jaw after being hit in the face recently.
- Rosie's hip flexor problem is getting better.
- Maven is expected to miss six more weeks with his ankle injury.
- Jazz meets with her doctor next week at which time she may be cleared to get back into the ring.
