I was watching the daily show the other day and they had the most fascinating guest on.

I forget the title of her book, I hope someone can remember. It had to do with Political Correctness in the school systems.

This is just plain old fucked up and just goes to prove further why our society is taking a huge nose dive and the outcome is unfunny, uneducated twits.

The author described certain stories that were not allowed to be told to school children because they are "biased" Like you are not allowed to tell certain stories about oriental people in the field of science per se, like so and so gook invented this or that. because it is steroetypical that all chinese people are smart. You are not allowed to tell stories about Jessie Owens and his triumph in the Munich olympics when he upstaged Hitler and his ideals. Because blacks excelling in sports is also stereotypical.

This one took the cake though, I missed part of the story so I am pasting it together from what I heard.

Recently a story about a blind man who climbed either mount everest or one of the major peaks, was also dissalowed. Why? Well because telling a story of a blind man doing something others have done but making his ordeal seem more courageous than the others because he is blind, makes it biased. Why? Because it makes it seem that blind people have a "handicap"....

Thats not the worst part though, the other reason is, since the mountain is covered in snow and is cold it is also biased for children who live in warmer climates who never see snow. So it is weather and climate biased to them.

This is just fuckin mind boggling, makes me just wanna tear my hair out. For the life of me I can't remember the title of the book though.

The chinese goverment is getting fed up with this silly SARS epidemic. So what's the answer they have come up with? More funding for research? nope.

Their solution is to simply kill all the spreaders of the disease and end it right there.

How fuckin genius is that, if reagan had the balls when the AIDS crisis first became evident, hundreds of thousands of lives would be saved.

Now is this ethical?

The pro's are:

they are gonna die anyway, you're saving countless more lives, and you are possibly ridding the world of another deadly disease which is worse cause its airborne.

The cons are:

waaa waaa we can't play god with other peoples lives.

The neighborhood cops come in yesterday to bullshit for a couple minutes.They were in a call around the corner at the porn shop.

The sex shop operator calls the cops cause some erratic customer is threatening him and shit. So the cops show up and ask what the ruckus is?

The customer says he purchased a vibrator earlier and when he got home and took it out of the package, it had batteries in it and was operational.

sooooooo... what's the problem?

He points to the package and it says "batteries NOT included"

Then he starts going balistic that he NEEDS, really, really, really needs this vibrator for tonight.

So it's not bad enough you got some dude using a vibrator, its not bad enough that the store sold him a used vibrator. Oh no, no, it gets better.

So the cop says, how can you be sure it was used?

The guy takes out the dildo and waves it around and yells

"CAUSE I FUCKIN SMELLED IT, HERE TAKE A WIFF OF THIS!!!!"

Imet a cute contruction worker at the bar last night. I gave him my #, but I can already see we'll run out of things to talk about pretty quickly. Between my upper middle class upbringing, Ivy League education and yuppy job, I've been told my phrasing and vocabulary is hard to relate to by other less educated friends. So what can we talk about? Only thing I can come up with so far is sports. Any ideas?
