GT vs UMD...uh I thought that we were definatly going in to that game with an ass kicking awaiting us. It felt so good to watch Tech win though. I doubt we'll make the tournament this year cause of our shitty road record, but this team looks good for the future.

  What's your favorite sense?

touch? taste? hearing?

I really like smell. It brings up so many memories & I just like to sniff things, books, people, flowers, whatever. Sometimes I'll wear one perfume for awhile & then later it will remind me of the time & place, or person. :loveya:

  NBA All star Weekend
Posted by: Teenweek - 02-10-2003, 01:50 PM - Forum: SportsCenter - Replies (19)

Did anyone watch anything this weekend?

I saw about a minute of this new contest they had where Jason Kidd and gary Payton were in the finals. It was some shooting, passing, dribbling contest. I used to love the 3 point shooting and slam dunk contest. Have not watched it in over 3 years now. Don't even know who won this year. Honestly did not care about the game either. It started like 8:30 and went to DOuble overtime. SOunds like itwas a great game but should be on free tv in the afternoon. I watched Sopranos, Oz and than went to sleep.

  Happy Valentine's Day

My wife and I are doing nothing for Valentine's Day. We might go to dinner this weekend, but not on Friday when every restaurant raises the prices. She does not want flowers because they jack the prices up over 200%. She can't eat chocolate because she is pregnant. Basically we are saving all our money now for the baby.

What is everyone else doing for Valentine's Day? What are you buying wife/husband/girl or boyfriend? Or do you hate Valentine's day as basically a made up holiday that supports the rose and hallmark card industry. Frankly if you love someone, you don't need one day to show it. It should be everyday.

Monday Night Raw - End of the Bischoff era
Posted by: Teenweek - 02-10-2003, 01:20 PM - Forum: The Faggy Artistic Forum - Replies (16)

What do you think will happen tonight? The main storyline will be between Bischoff and Vince tonight. I think a great storyline, would be at the start of the show is a new set, a new stage, new announce booth, new titantron. Bischoff comes out and says Vince wanted me to shake up Raw and bring it down to its foundation. Well, I did that. Raw is dead. Welcome to Monday Nitro.

  Astronauts
Posted by: Hey Ladi - 02-10-2003, 05:46 AM - Forum: The Faggy Artistic Forum - Replies (9)

As NASA astronaut Kenneth Cockrell told journalist Mark Bowden about the rigors of space travel, "You don't hear astronauts complaining about it, but what you do see are people who come back lying about how great the experience was and then quietly leave the program."

Or perhaps they leave because of what weightlessness does to their bathroom habits. (Imagine floating vomit. Now imagine something grosser.) Astronauts urinate into vacuum-powered bags, and bowel movements require the use of a special toilet, four inches in diameter. Astronauts train in an earth-bound NASA-built model, practicing the use of retaining bars to prevent themselves from floating away. The model toilet has a camera in it, so astronauts can see how they're doing. (That's right, part of training to become an astronaut involves watching your own ass on television.) Once in space, however, there is a plus side: "A rite of space flight is to urinate upside down," an astronaut told the Washington Post.

Worst Tribute EVER - Joey's rolling over in his grave
Posted by: Maynard - 02-09-2003, 11:46 PM - Forum: Noise Pollution - Replies (15)

I had the displeasure of listening to A Tribute To Ramones (Were A Happy Family). This may have been the worst tribue album I've ever heard. I hope they're not trying to raise money for anything with this album because it made me want to cry. I gave the thing a fair shot, but it was just awful. In fact, so awful that I deleted most of the tracks after listening to it (I didn't even do that with Andrew WK's album).

A FEW good songs on the album are

U2 - Beat On The Brat This actually sounded like U2 when they first started. Really good sound from the band, and an excellent cover.
Rancid - Sheena Is A Punk Rocker Not bad. At least it's a punk band doing it. And they sounded pretty close to the Ramones here.
The Offspring - I Wanna Be Sedated Wow, I was impressed by this, and I hate the Offspring. They're a wanna be punk band that missed and became frat rock instead. But this cover was pretty good.

That's all! There was some stuff that was interesting to listen to like Marilyn Manson, and Tom Waits, but they weren't all that good. They had every band on this album do a Ramones song in their own style. So the Manson song sounds like typical Manson, the Rob Zombie song sounds like typical Zombie, etc...

Don't DARE waste your money on this album. And I don't even recommend wasting your hard drive space to download it.
