Look I understand the negro race is upset that white people "steal" their styles and clothes and slang and all that stuff.
Black people steal from whites too, ofcourse I mean literally but they do it figuratively as well. They do it in film, taking white classics and reamking them with a black cast and making it "hip".
Nutty Professor - only funny scenes were the family dinner scenes
Soul Plane - yeah it was called airplane and was a classic from the 70's.
Johnson family vacation - yeah, replace griswalds with johnson, good idea.
The list goes on and on ofcourse.
But this is just taking an american classic, a television series that I personally believe to be the greatest TV series ever made, bar none the best ever. I am a fanatic when it comes to the series... yes, they are making a... BLACK HONEYMOONERS!!!!
It's not even like soul plane where they are changing the title and stuff and taking the premise, no! They are using the title and the character names, Ralph Kramden, Ed Norton, etc etc.
They got Cedric to play Ralph and out of no sense that I can make they get Omar Epps to play Norton. They're filming it in australia for whatever reason and they got Gabrielle Union to play alice. From the article they said Gabrielle at first seemed too young so to fix that they basically make Ralph into a "Craddle Robber".... it just gets better!!!!
I hope this never sees the light of day, I hope all the horrible stories you hear that plaugue movies happen to this movie.
It's not gonna be funny or hip, it's also like remaking sandford and son with Don Rickles and Steve Buscemi.

| Our country is divided? |

So, I've been seeing this a lot latey, and I just don't get it. Isn't it the exact opposite? The country isn't divided. People voted for a republican president AND a republican Congress to go along with how most states have republican governors?
Isn't the fact that Bush beat Kerry by 4 million votes, the fact that the republicans increased (dramatically in the senate) their majority in both houses, AND having the ranking democratic Senator be defeated largely because he was an obstruction against Bush mean that the country is unified in what party they feel better represents them?
No, I personally am no fan of GW, but just because certain people hate him a lot does that mean that the country is "divided"?
I guess I don't define "divided" by the amount of hatred one side has toward the other but by the amount of people who hold a disagreement.
Maybe an argument can be made that the country is "divided" by urban and rural areas. But no one's really been making that argument directly. They're just saying broadly that the country is divided and healing needs to be done.
Don't get it.

![[Image: detour_bars.jpg]](http://www.fitcol.com/products/supplements/NextProteins/detour_bars.jpg)
I have these for breakfast every day. They are like heaven.
It's basically like eating a snickers bar for breakfast except it has better consistency, tastes better, and is much healthier.
30 GRAMS OF PROTEIN!!!!! 30 GRAMS!!!!!!!
Now, sure, it's got 10 grams of fat and 22 net carbs which could be a bit much for people who are Atkins or anti-fat freaks.
But as a meal replacement 10 grams of fat isn't bad at all. More importantly, they taste incredible.
I swear to God!
If you don't eat breakfast, it's really bad for you. You have to eat some thing. It's actually better to eat bacon and eggs than nothing for breakfast.
If you eat crap like a bagel and chesse, or muffin or other such empty carbs, you'll be much more filled with one of these bars (they are very filling), and 30 grams of protein is really good for you.
I can't possibly recommend this enough. It actually tastes good. Most protein bars taste like concentrated dust. These actually taste good. I promise promise promise.
There's another one called a U-Turn bar that kind of tastes like a Milky Way. Pretty good too. I'd also recommend, but Detour is the best.

woulda been awesome if they didn't cut away when they killed the baby...
It didn't have the gore of the original, very little zombie action as far as the flesh eating or gorey shit. The zombies were much better as far as make up goes cause of the technology.
Story wise it was far superior, it was more in depth which may be good or bad depending but I enjoyed it.
As far as scares, still didnt pack any punch for me. I stayed up uber late to watch it to but didnt help.
The extras are pretty fuckin awesome though.

I ran into my cousin today while running some errands and we started to talk and he said lets get some coffee, so I say sure.
He insists we go to starbucks, I never been to starbucks, I had the canned stuff they sell at groceries and such but never been to an actual starbucks.
I say i'd rather have an iced coffee and I like the one at dunkin donuts, they are both within 2 blocks of eachother. But he insists I must try it, so I figure well might as well try it once see what the fuss is.
So we go and amazingly I was really wrong about the starbucks closing down within a month, somehow they are still open. Naturally its empty, no one besides the employees and this was around lunchtime. The fried chicken place across the street is packed, we pass by dunkin donuts it was packed but starbucks is empty.
So he orders his coffee and I have no clue what all these fuckin things mean, I tell him gimme whatever my cousin got.
I don't fuckin get the deal, it was like 4.50 for a cup of coffee, and the coffee wasnt that great, it was almost bitter to be honest.
I do not get the big deal that people make over starbucks. Is it the fact that its the hip place to go or cause it shows some sort of status in society? Cause it sure as fuck ain't the good coffee.
I made him buy me a wonderful iced coffee at dunkin donuts for a 1.75 and it was 100 times better.
